ALL AMERICAN HORSE CLASSIC
\PLEASE NOTE: 2011 STALL POLICY
Due to high demand for stabling and cost increases in rental stall and overhead,
no stabling will be reserved for any exhibitor at the AAHC unless accompanied by a
check for the full amount of all stalls requested. Management will contract for rental
stalls and buildings based on stall counts received by close of entries. Stall requests
received as post entries will be handled on a first come-first served basis. Should stalling
sell out, late entries will be put on a waiting list and will receive stall assignments
subject to cancellations. Participation in the All American Cup, Futurities and/or
ASR Sweepstakes will NOT guarantee an exhibitor stalls. To ensure adequate stabling
please send stall reservations and check with entries by closing date—stalls not
paid in full will not be reserved.
CANCELLATION - REFUNDS
Exhibitors canceling entries in writing prior to the closing date (July 27) shall be entitled
to have all fees (except office fee) returned. Any request to cancel entries after the closing
date and prior to August 30 will result in 50% of entry fees (except office fee) being
refunded provided a comprehensive veterinary certificate stating the injury/illness of a particular
entry is furnished to the show secretary along with a written request for a refund.
Telephone cancellations and requests not accompanied by veterinarian certificate will not
receive refunds. No refunds will be made for any cancellations not received in writing
by the show secretary by August 30, 2011. No stall refunds will be made for any reason
after closing date. No refunds will be made for amounts less than $50.00. Refunds will be
mailed no sooner than six weeks after conclusion of show.
The All American Classic reserves the right to cancel any class in which there are fewer
than three entries. It further reserves the right to refuse any money paid for stall or entry
fees, without being liable to claim for compensation. The AAHC may combine any classes
in the best interest of the show and/or change the time of showing of any class in accordance
with US Equestrian rules. Exhibitors will be informed.
CHECKS
Any check returned for insufficient funds will be charged a service fee of $50.00. If
payment is not received via certified funds or cashiers check to cover the amount of the
returned check and service fee, it will be turned over to the APPROPRIATE AUTHORI-
TIES. Failure to make restitution will prevent that exhibitor from making future entries at
the All American Horse Classic until full settlement is made. No personal checks will be
cashed during the show.
SWEEPSTAKES
$213,420 PAID OUT IN 2010
The American Saddlebred Registry Two-, Three-, and Four-
Year-Old Sweepstakes Program is designed to enhance the
breeding, training and showing of the American Saddlebred
horse. Entries in the Two-Year-Old Sweepstakes compete in
the following classes: Fine Harness and Three-Gaited Park.
Entries in the Three- and Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes compete
in the following classes: Three-Gaited, Five-Gaited, Fine
Harness and Three-Gaited Park Pleasure.
The Sweepstakes classes – held at the All American Horse
Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana, in September – are conducted
under the rules of U.S. Equestrian Federation. The
Sweepstakes differ from the ASR Futurity program in
that nominations for sires, dams and weanlings are
not required. The horse is nominated as a yearling
to the Two- and Three-Year-Old Sweepstakes and
is nominated to the Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes
in its three-year-old year.
Another unique feature of the American
Saddlebred Registry Sweepstakes program is
that the judge selection is done by a vote of the
Sweepstakes’ participants with the approval of the
ASR Sweepstakes Committee. Prize money is
divided between the recorded owner at the time of
competition and the original nominator(s). In 2010, prize
money was distributed as follows: Two-Year-Old
Sweepstakes, $21,093; Three-Year-Old Sweepstakes,
$123,502; Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes, $68,825.
Also, courtesy of the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund (KBIF),
more than $430,000 has been awarded to breeders and sire
owners of Kentucky-bred American Saddlebreds competing in
the ASR Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes. For more information,
