SuStainable – Fair<br />
For <strong>Prolana</strong>, dealing with producers and suppliers on a fair basis is as important<br />
as protecting the environment by buying organic. When sourcing cotton we buy,<br />
wherever technically possible, cotton produce from farmers and processors who<br />
are certified by the international Fairtrade label organization FLO. This means that<br />
the farmers have received a Fair Trade premium for their organic cotton and that<br />
all subsequent processing units are regularly monitored with regard to social minimum<br />
standards (such as no child labour or minimum wages).
