India has not just topped the fastest-growing list of a popular research report recently;

the country also remains the most attractive destination for international alcobev

companies despite high duties. It is apparent from the number of new companies who

have entered the market since last year and the number of new brands being introduced

across the country.

The alcoholic beverage industry is a multi-billion dollar business.

The top five emerging countries contributed $139171.1 million to the global alcoholic

drinks industry in 2009, with a CAGR of 7.4% between 2005 and 2009. China leads the

race with market revenues of $73,617.9 million in 2009. China is further expected to

lead the alcohol industry in the top five emerging nations with a value of $106,877.3

million in 2014.

The Indian liquor industry is estimated at `34, 500 crore or `345 billion ( USD 1 =

`46) and has been growing at 12-15% per annum, reflecting a double-digit growth in

the past financial year (FY 2009-10).

In volume terms the IMFL industry is nearly 250 million cases with country liquor /

cheap liquor accounting for additional 200 million cases. beer accounts for another 200

million cases. The IMFL market is currently 60% whisky, 17% brandy, 15% rum, and

8% white spirits like vodka and gin.

Ambrosia Awards instituted every year during INDSPIRIT is conferred on

distinguished industry stalwarts, most preferred products and companies in various

categories after being judged by a fine jury. The selection process for Ambrosia Awards

INDSPIRIT’12 is an alcobev trade event. ENTRy To ThIS EvENT IS STRIcTly by INvITaTIoN.

GENERal INFoRMaTIoN

A) Definitions: In the text throughout this folder manual. ‘The Organisers’ shall mean Ambrosia magazine, the publishers of SAP Media Worldwide Ltd,

Mumbai. ‘The Exhibitor’ shall mean any party, which has been allotted space in the exhibition, and the ‘Exhibition’ shall mean INDSPIRIT 2012.

B) Exhibition Management: The exhibition is managed by Ambrosia, the publishers of SAP Media Worldwide Ltd, Mumbai, India. In case of any dispute,

the final decision binding on all concerned parties shall rest with the SAP Media Worldwide Ltd under Bombay Jurisdiction.

C) Show Management Office at Site: The show management office will start functioning at the site from 3:00 pm onwards on 01-03-2012. The address will

be: World Trade Centre, Cuff Parade, Mumbai, India

D) Venue & Dates: World Trade Centre, Cuff Parade, Mumbai- 400005; India

Dates: 2 nd March (Friday) to 3 rd (Sat) 2012.

E) Time Table Construction Period: 1 st March, 2012 Possession to Bare Space Holders: 1 st March 6.00 pm. Possession to Shell Scheme Holders: 1 st March

2012 from 11 pm onwards. Exhibition Inauguration: 2 nd March 2012 (Exact time to be announced) Exhibition Ends 3 rs March 2012 at 7.30 pm.

F) Dismantling Period: 3 nd March 2012 (7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.)

alloTMENT oF EXhIbITIoN STaNDS & WIThDRaWal FRoM PaRTIcIPaTIoN

A) Allotment of Stands: The Organisers reserve the right to refuse allotment of stands to any applicant or to change the stand location allotted to any

exhibitor before full payment is made, without assigning any reason. Even after full payment is made by an exhibitor, the Organisers reserve the right to

change the stand location of any exhibitor due to changes in floor plan considered necessary by the organisers.

B) Sharing the Stand with Co-Exhibitors: Total subletting of a stand to third parties is prohibited. However, an exhibitor may register an associate/sister

company and/or Foreign / Indian principal or representative as co-exhibitor in his stand by submitting as Co-exhibitor in Registration Form along with

registration fee of `10,000/- for each Indian co-exhibitor and Euro 300/- or `18,000/- for each foreign co-exhibitor. Co-exhibitor’s name will be displayed

on Fascia only if space permits.

C) Withdrawal from Participation: After the Organisers have been allotted a stand, an exhibitor may withdraw from participation by sending a written

communication and in that event the following forfeiture will result:

i) The registration fee is forfeited on withdrawal at any time.

ii) If withdrawal notice is received by the organisers 45 days before the opening date of the exhibition, 50% of the amount paid towards bare space / shell

scheme cost will be forfeited.

iii) If withdrawal notice is received by organisers less than 45 days before the opening date of the exhibition, the total amount paid by the exhibitors towards

bare scheme / shell scheme cost will be forfeited. Only the amount if paid as security deposit will be refunded.

iv) Failure to take possession of the allotted stand in the exhibition, will be treated as withdrawal from participation, even if the exhibitor fails to send a

written communication. The organisers will be free to allot the stand so vacated by withdrawal of an exhibitor to any other party.

D) Reduction of Stand Area: In case an exhibitor requests to reduce the area of stand allotment, less than 45 days before the exhibition, the excess amount

paid by him towards space charges will be forfeited. The organisers reserve the right to change the location of the stand, after reduction in area.

alcobEv PRoDUcT STocK

*All exhibitors should bring stocks to the venue as per the strict guidelines of the Excise Department, Govt. of Maharashtra as well as Customs regulations

of Govt. of India. If they do not abide by the rules, organisers are at no stage will be responsible for any action by Government department during and after

the exhibition.

*Excise laws should be strictly followed by all the exhibitors for sampling and display of their products within or outside the exhibition premises. All exhibitors are

requested to take care that the visitors are allowed only to sample/taste the product - the quantity of which should be very minimal.

PlaNNING yoUR STaND DESIGN

A) Shell Scheme Entitlement: Exhibitors with shell scheme package are entitled to:- Upto 3 side walls in Meroform System with white laminated panels

2.5m high x 1m wide. – Unless specifically advised, whereas corner stalls will have two sides open. – Needle punch carpet for the floor area. Fascia panel

with Exhibitor name and stand number in uniform white lettering 10cm high. – Spotlights, electricity sockets & furniture.

REQUISITIoN FoR aDDITIoNal SERvIcES

Payment of Additional Services: Payment of all additional services must be made 15 days in advance to the organisers or to the concerned contractors.

DISMaNTlING & REMoval FRoM hall

Right of Lien: The organisers reserve the right to refuse Exit Gate Pass to any exhibitor if they have not settled all their dues, and to retain their exhibits or

other goods as collateral security, till debts are discharged. The exhibitors expressly indemnify the organisers against claims for damage to their goods held

as collateral security.

lEGal MaTTERS

A) Insurance & Liability: Exhibitors are advised to obtain insurance cover against all risks. It is expressly understood that the organisers stand indemnified by the

exhibitors in respect of any loss of or damage of their goods due to theft, fire, etc or injury to any person as well as third party.

B) Change of Venue, Dates, Timings: The organisers reserve the right to change the venue, dates, duration or timings of an exhibition if the circumstances

so demand, and the exhibitors are bound to accept the decision of the organisers, so long as the exhibitors are informed about the changes either by individual

communication or by a press advertisement. No refund shall be allowed, if an exhibitor withdraws from participation on account of the changes.

C) Changes in Floor plan, Location & Dimensions of Stand: The organisers also reserve the right to make changes in the floor plan, location and

dimensions of any stand allotted to an exhibitor or entry/exit points, etc. at any time before the erection of stands, if such changes are necessary in the opinion

of the organisers. Any such changes shall not be deemed sufficient grounds for exhibitors to cancel their participation, provided the exhibitor is offered a

choice of at least two alternative locations of about the same area. No refund will be permissible in case of withdrawal from participation on this account.

D) Cancellation of Exhibition: In the event of cancellation of an exhibition due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers, i.e. due to force

majeure, political events, government orders etc, the organisers shall refund to exhibitors only 50% of payment made by them. The exhibitors expressly

agree to accept the organisers decisions in the matter.

E) Breach of Peace: The organisers reserve the right to close any exhibitor’s stand temporarily or permanently, if the exhibitor commits breach of peace

in any way or cause disturbance in the normal functioning of the exhibition. In such an event, the organisers stand indemnified by the concerned exhibitor

against any claim of any kind whatsoever.

F) Binding Terms of Contract: The submission of the Application / Contract Form duly signed by an authorised officer of the exhibitor, shall be deemed

as confirmation of participation in the exhibition, and acceptance of all rules and regulations printed in the application form as well as any amendments or

additions from time to time, notified to exhibitors through circular letters. These are binding on all parties concerned.

G) Claims Deadline: All claims arising out of settlement of accounts and participation in this exhibition, must be submitted in writing to the organisers

within 60 days from the close of the exhibition, after which the claims shall not be tenable.

H) Settlement of Legal Disputes: The competent court and place for settlement of all disputes in connection with these Rules & Regulations for Exhibitors

dispute if any, will be subject to Bombay jurisdiction.
