Apparatus, materials, and reagents Construction The components should be mounted as shown in figure A.3. The circuit should be shown on the lid of the box as in figure A.4. Figure A.4 4 Direct vision spectroscope (Topics 4 and 6) The spectroscope can be made out of any hollow tube of a suitable size. One end of the tube is sealed except for a narrow slit, and a replica grating put over the other end. Materials required Tube about 12cm long and 1-2 cm in diameter is suitable.
