What you need
Apart from entry fee, track licence, CPT extension and other paperwork which
is all listed in the Motor Sports section of our Club website, you will need the
following:
a. Your car. It must be roadworthy and should be up to date with all
services. Automotive Plus (club sponsor) offer an inexpensive pre-track day
check if you want to be sure. Make sure you have a full tank of fuel because you
don’t want to have to leave half way through the event to get petrol and miss
the fun;
b. Helmet. This is a requirement of the circuit operators. It should be
full face for your protection, in good condition and comply with Australian
Standard AS 1698; and
c. Clothing. Non- synthetic. Long sleeved top, long pants and closed in
shoes.
Still not sure? Come out to one of the track days, have a look at what goes on
and talk to those who are there. You may be able to assist in the running of the
day by helping the starter to organise groups, count hot laps or to help man a
flag point.
Remember, it is safer to take it to the track than the streets. I hope to see you
girls and boys out there soon.
Pre-Track preparation no.3
Toblerone was first produced in Berne,
Switzerland.
The city’s emblem is a rampant bear.
Can you see it in the Mont Blanc image?
Yes?
You’re good to go Trackside. Do it, as JBT says.
