Mills<strong>to</strong>ne River per<strong>for</strong>ms a boisterous <strong>for</strong>m of English traditional folk dance with sticks, handkerchiefs<br />
and bells <strong>to</strong> live music called Cotswold Morris Dancing. Dancing in the greater Prince<strong>to</strong>n area since<br />
1983, Mills<strong>to</strong>ne can be seen at a variety of seasonal events, but<br />
especially May Day dawn at the (site of the) Mercer Oak on Prince<strong>to</strong>n<br />
Battlefield, where all are welcomed <strong>to</strong> celebrate the coming of Spring. We<br />
are there starting at 5:45 am on May 1, every year! We welcome new<br />

The slogan of the Hidden Gems is “Sing with Passion, Support a Cause!”<br />
The track-singing group is a member-supported, nonprofit organization that<br />
provides a <strong>for</strong>um <strong>for</strong> the personal develo<strong>pm</strong>ent of the singing talents of its<br />
25 members. Hidden Gems also provides monetary support <strong>to</strong> other nonprofit organizations that serve<br />
social causes and strive <strong>to</strong> make a positive difference in the lives of those who are under-privileged, or<br />
facing hardships due <strong>to</strong> circumstances beyond their control. Hidden Gems music includes mesmerizing foottapping<br />

Education. Gary has worked extensively throughout NJ and NY areas in the last 20 years, per<strong>for</strong>ming<br />
in various capacities. His schedule wasn’t set, but we are hopeful that he will be per<strong>for</strong>ming “Three<br />
Views”; a per<strong>for</strong>mance piece based on the poems of Langs<strong>to</strong>n Hughes <strong>to</strong> close the show on Sat or Sun.<br />
Mr. Edison also has programs <strong>for</strong> children based on Br’er Rabbit among his reper<strong>to</strong>ire. He may be<br />

1:<strong>30</strong> <strong>pm</strong> – 2:00 <strong>pm</strong>: The Central Jersey Scottish Dancers will present a short program of<br />
traditional Scottish country dances. These dances have been enjoyed throughout the country since the<br />
13th century. Unlike the familiar Highland dances, which are usually per<strong>for</strong>med solo, these dances are<br />
enjoyed by couples, typically in sets of 8. Ranging from stately strathspeys <strong>to</strong> lively reels and whirling<br />
hornpipes, the dancers maintain steady styles of footwork keeping time <strong>to</strong> the tunes of these melodies.<br />

diversity of Indian music under the stewardship of Dr. Arindam Chakraborty. In our<br />
presentation we showcase different <strong>for</strong>ms of classical, contemporary and fusion music with a<br />
special emphasis on using multiple rhythm-instruments. We offer the audience <strong>to</strong> experience the<br />
sublime level of creativity through the variety of Indian rhythmic pattern.<br />

Gayatree is a singer with a mellifluous voice, who got her training under the guidance of Smt Mandira<br />
Lahiri, an outstanding Indian classical vocalist of Calcutta. She has completed M.Muse (Master of<br />
music) from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith in 2001,under the guidance of Shri Damodar bora. In USA,<br />
she has been per<strong>for</strong>ming regularly since 2002 <strong>for</strong> many Indian organizations and charitable<br />
organizations like ASHA, Helping Hand <strong>for</strong> Handicapped(HHH) etc. and also in numerous private<br />

Rutgers University Liberated Gospel Choir is an entirely student run, non-profit per<strong>for</strong>ming arts<br />
organization founded in 1969 on the Livings<strong>to</strong>n College Campus. Today, having grown <strong>to</strong><br />
approximately 85 members, the choir has the honor of being one of the oldest and largest non-fraternal<br />
organizations at Rutgers University. Liberated Gospel Choir per<strong>for</strong>ms at singing engagements<br />
throughout New Jersey, and also hosts annual concerts and events, with the aim of inspiring and<br />
educating different audiences with gospel music. Our Annual Spring Concert will be held on <strong>Sunday</strong><br />
<strong>April</strong> 22nd at the Busch Campus Center at 7<strong>pm</strong>.
