NEW <strong>ROSES</strong><br />
• A rose should be planted in a well-aerated, sunny location that<br />
receives at least 6 hours of sunlight each day.<br />
• Roses can be fertilized on a monthly basis until early August and<br />
watered once per week, preferably in the morning.<br />
• Watering roses at soil level, under the foliage, reduces leaf wetness<br />
and limits disease development.<br />
• Removal of spent flowers and fruit will promote the development<br />
of new rose buds.<br />
