Data Programming
PIC Programmer & Experimenter
✔ Supports 8, 14, 18, & 28 pin PICs
✔ Includes a PIC16F627 Microcontroller!
✔ On-board programming switches and LEDs!
Unlike the stand-alone programmer K8076 above, this programmer also acts as an advanced experimenters board
for PIC microcontrollers. Separate 8, 14, 18, and 28 pin sockets accommodate a wide variety of controllers. This
eliminates the need for patching a universal ZIF socket.
Program Your Own
Flash Microcontrollers!
This multifunctional programmer for PIC microcontrollers
will let you take advantage of their flexibility.
You can reprogram them up to 1000 times to perform
different functions, upgrade device firmware, or just play!
When using this programmer, code can be created in any ASCII word
processor (i.e. notepad) or using Microchip's MPLAB development package
(available at www.microchip.com).
After writing the code and compiling, your code can be written directly to the microcontroller!
The ICSP function allows you to reprogram controllers still in-use/powered by another
board by simply connecting the chip to the ICSP bus on the programmer!
All the software you need to get started is included and with a basic knowledge of ASM and this kit, the possibilities are endless! To get more hands-on training and experience with
PIC controllers, check out the K8048 programmer and experimenters board above, it gives you all the programming capabilities plus extra onboard experimentation capabilities.
From Velleman. Note: this product requires a standard RS232 serial connection, and is NOT compatible with some USB to RS232 serial adapters or converters.
K8076 PIC Programmer Board Kit $47.95
VM134 PIC Programmer Board, Factory Assembled & Tested $74.95
AC125 110VAC Power Supply $9.95
Don’t Just Program Them...
Learn All About Them!
In addition, programming switches and LED status and
feedback indicators help you with your programming,
so there’s no need to move the PIC to another board
to test it. This makes the K8048 a great teaching tool
for PIC programming. Also includes a standard PIC
16F627 PIC to experiment with over and over again!
Integrate PIC Micros Without
Building The Hardware!
This “cute” little module is designed for the hobbyist that would like to control their project or application with a custom PIC microcontroller but
really doesn’t want to build the hardware associated with it, whether it be the lack of time, ability... or both! The module (which is less than 3” x 3”)
is self enclosed, factory assembled and tested, and ready for your integration into your application. It even includes a PIC16F630 micro on board!
It features 4 buffered voltage sensing inputs from 5-24VDC at 47K. Output wise, it provides
4 NPN open collector outputs plus a relay output. The relay can be directly driven by an
output and provides NO/NC contacts rated at 2 amps.
Besides the built-in relay, the module also contains dual LED indicators for power
supply and relay operation as well as an on-board buzzer for programmable audible
indication. A 13 pin plug-in Euroblock style connector is also provided for easy connection
and removal to your application or circuit. The socket mounted on-board
PIC can be removed for programming with the K8076, VM134, or any other suitable
