In addition to general health and safety

rules already posted, the following rules

1. Cleansing showers are required of

every person before entering any pool

or whirlpool.

2. All children under the age of 6 must

have a responsible adult age 16 or over

in the water within arms reach at all

times. Swim tests available.

3. All bathers, regardless of age, requiring

a diaper must wear a plastic protective

pant. Approved swim diapers are

available at the Aquatics Desk for $5.

4. Pool space is always available for adult

laps swimmers in both the recreation

and lap pool.

5. Anyone with a communicable disease

or anyone who has been ill with

vomiting or diarrhea within the last

two weeks is prohibited from entering

the water.

In Sports on the gym schedule! Basketball,

pickleball and volleyball are all available free

of charge. Any setup or teardown of equipment

is the responsibility of the participating

members. To schedule an equipment

orientation, please contact the Recreation

• Only athletic shoes are allowed on the

gym floor.

• No food or drink (except water).

• Members under the age of 12 must be

accompanied by an adult.

• Only soft balls, such as basketballs and

volleyballs. No hard balls such as baseballs,

lacrosse balls, etc.

• Emergency exit is to remain closed at all

times.

• Must be seven years or older to be on

the upper track.

• Put soiled towels in the towel bin.

• Contact Recreation staff for assistance

raising and lowering equipment.

tRACK INFORmAtION

14 laps = 1 mile

• Move clockwise direction on even days &

counter-clockwise on odd days.

• Faster runners use outside lane (14 laps

= 1 mile).

• Slower runners use middle lane (14.5

laps = 1 mile).

• Walkers use inside lane (15 laps = 1

mile).

• Use only one lane when walking/running

side- by-side.

• Children under 7 are not permitted on

the track.

• No sports equipment allowed on track.

• The track is to be used for exercise

purposes only, not as a place to play or to

observe gym activities.
