Junior Clinics<br />
The popular <strong>White</strong> <strong>Cliffs</strong> Junior Clinics are back. This is a newly designed program that runs most of <strong>July</strong><br />
and August. The juniors will have their clinics on Monday mornings starting <strong>July</strong> 9 th . The final clinic and<br />
barbecue will take place on August 20 th . Topics that will be covered include fitness, golf skills, sportsmanship,<br />
etiquette and rules. Sign up in the Golf Shop.<br />
Get Golf Ready – The Next Phase<br />
The Get Golf Ready member clinics were a hit. We are now offering “Get Golf Ready – The Next Phase”<br />
later in <strong>July</strong>. The first phase featured basics in putting, chipping and full swing. The “Next Phase” will take<br />
you more in depth. You will review posture, grip, aim, putting strategy and the importance of properly fit<br />
equipment. You will get more in depth with chipping, pitching and bunker play. Uneven lies, long grass<br />
and techniques to get more distance will also be covered. You will also have some course management<br />
work (hole by hole strategy and risk vs. reward). These clinics cost $10 per person per individual clinic.<br />

Mixed Member Guest<br />
New for <strong>2012</strong> is the Mixed Member Guest taking place on <strong>July</strong> 22 nd . Teams for this event may be comprised<br />
of any gender. Invite three guests or have two members and two guests. The format will be a flighted<br />
scramble. Chef Beriau promises an excellent dining experience after golf as always. Sign up Now.<br />
June <strong>Cliffs</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Rules Question Winners<br />
There were only three correct answers for the June <strong>Cliffs</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Rules question. Congratulations to Alan Isherwood,<br />
Bobbie McDowell and Ruth Lenehan for answering the question correctly. They will each receive<br />
a free dozen golf balls. They also get an additional entry into the year end free 2013 <strong>Cliffs</strong> <strong>Club</strong> membership.<br />
