3. CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS - (2 Tim. 4:6-8). For those who love the<br />
Lord’s appearing. (Probably the fewest) We should live in anticipation of His<br />
coming...ANXIOUSLY, as for a wedding, because that’s what is going to take place.<br />
4. CROWN OF LIFE - 1.) Martyr’s Crown (Rev. 2:10) For those who give their life.<br />
2.) To them that love Him and are tried (tested) for His sake (James 1:12). A testing is NOT a<br />
temptation to sin. It is an opportunity to do something for the glory of God and it’s an<br />
opportunity for a crown. That’s why Paul rejoiced in his suffering for Christ.<br />
5. CROWN OF GLORY - Pastor’s Crown (1 Pet. 5:1-4) to those who are examples<br />
to the flock. This is for the spiritual leaders of the church, but not for those who serve for “filthy<br />
lucre” or who “lord it over God’s heritage.”<br />
