THE SHOW
THE LIFE OF ANGELS, rock opera tells the story of an impossible love between an angel
Cahétel and a simple earthling, Eva. Their paths cross, their souls are touched, they will
never leave each other. Between the heavenly world and the earthly world, the heart of
Cahétel hesitates.
Can an angel claim to earthly love by giving her immortality? Between love and
friendship, secrets and betrayals, promises and sacrifices, what will be the final outcome of
this celestial epic ?
Fantastic tale or legendary story, «Angels’s Life» is in the tradition of great love stories that

SYNOPSIS
Manichean, man is sometimes good, sometimes bad. He lives in the world «BETWEEN TWO
WORLD», between heaven and hell. His soul is tortured between the world of the Hereafter
and the world Below. That is why man is half angel, half-demon. The audience is plunged
into darkness. A child tells a story. The light slowly rises and we find Sitaël )Elliot Miville
Deschênes), our angel child who will be our theme throughout the show.
Eva is an earthling. She seeks tirelessly her earthly love, her true love,
that is so well described in the fashion magazines, which is idealized by
television, which, by its purity, puts us far from our earthly reality. Eva shouts her love and
no one hears her. Cahétel her Guardian Angel tries to explain that the love she seeks is very
pure because it is close to a heavenly love. Unfortunately, Eva can not hear Cahétel as an
angel.
Real communication problem. Eva speaks with Angelique her best friend and confidante.
Cahétel, meanwhile, is under the power of this love and talks to his best and closest friend
the Angel Haziel. The latter tries to reason Cahétel in vain. Cahétel ultimately decides to
leave paradise. He will therefore visit the ferryman of life who will tear his two wings off. The
arrival of Cahétel on earth is brutal because he will discover the earthly world that he saw
from above. He discovers hunger,cold, heat,..
At the same time, a drama is being played up there because the ferryman of life is a traitor.
He has warned the demons of Cahétel’s descent on earth. Haziel, up from paradise,sees
the whole story unfold before him: he is enraged and décides to speak to the great master.
Haziel does not believe his ears: the grand master refuses to act and strictly prohibits Haziel
to intervene under any reason whatsoever. The Grand Master explains the importance of
free will. Cahétel has made a choice. Because of this choice, there are consequences, he must
feel the impact. Haziel realizes that his longtime friend will never get out of this situation
without his help. So he decides to go to the ferryman of life )???) and also goes down to
earth. The Grand Master will eventually intervene to save the stability of the three worlds.
Thanks to his power he can exert on the world of two, he will erase the memory of all those
who are on earth )demons, fallen angels and earthlings ...) And this is how it all will go back
to its place.

CHARACTERS
1 / Sitaël, child angel
It is the lead of our story. Sitaël is a mischievous child, smart and very funny. He often
makes fun of adults who behave like big kids and are often irresponsible.
2 / Cahétel an angel different from others
He is the guardian angel of Eva, the lost earthling, and will fall madly in love with her.
Cahétel is a naive angel who believes in love . He is ready to sacrifice his angel immortality
to save Eva.
3 / Eva, «the fashion victim»
Eva is a free and an impulsive woman who does not hesitate to shout her love. Eva is
looking for love with a capital A. But the perfection of this love exists only in the fashion
magazine on glossy pictures.
4 / Angelique, an earthly angel
She is the best friend and confidante of Eva. She is pragmatic, feet set firmly on the ground.
She loves men on the whole as they are «half angel, half demon» She has a heart of gold
and knows a sincere love that comes from the heart.
5 / Haziel, longtime friend
He has always been Cahétel’s friend . He is reasonable. He is a faithful friend lending
to sacrifice himself to save his best friend from his faux pas.
6 / The Grand Master
He is a being of light. It is symbolized by a light that varies
with the intonation of the voice.
7 / Demonia, sexually irresistible
She is a demon woman. She is luscious and sexually irresistible. Demonia plays with her
red mane for men to fall under her spell and steal their souls. She is terrible man-eater
and always gets what she wants.
8 / The Giver of life, the traitor
He is a traitor who prefers money to honor. He will be the ultimate betrayal. He will tell the
demons that a door has opened between the in-between world and the world below.
9 / Pixit, inquisitive journalist
Pixit is a journalist desperate to find a scoop.
She is a TV child fed by subliminal images.

Xavier BARBÉ-RACHMIEL
Producer
Executive producer of the show, he is also the manager of the company LVDA
PRODUCTIONS FRANCE for 9 years. Xavier has always been a pioneer of fades.
After studying literature in LA SORBONNE and postgraduate at CELSA he began
his career as a journalist in a local television station )channel 8 Mont Blanc), then
became Head of Press and Public Relations of Canal J. He continued his career
with the Ministry of Environment and supervising Clean Holidays campaign. Since
the beginning of ICIBAS and LVDA PRODUCTIONS company, many events punctuate
his career: The race for env ronmental sound and light Château du Lude. Nancy Holloway,
Fabrice EULRY The Pianist, Phonandre 12 male voices a cappella, Jean No, Anne )Disney) and more
recently ANGELS’s Life at the Palais des Congrès in Paris and the 80 year career of Jacques Verrières

Jean-Jacques GUINOT
Author, Director
He begins the staging of performances in the province of Ain near the Swiss
border , after thirty shows and plays, he decides to make his job of it and moves
to Paris.
He first worked with Jean-Luc Azoulay, the producer and owner of DOROTHEE
AB PRODUCTIONS. He worked to stage sitcoms for TV shows DOROTHEE at Bercy
and the Olympia. he participates in two rounds of the show Dorothy in France
with more than 80 cities, a tour to the West Indies and China. In charge of the
Department of event Ici-Bas since 1994, he puts-on performances for Nancy Holloway
at the Théâtre L’Européen in Paris, Phonandre 12 male voices a cappella, and summer entertainment
for the group Aqualand . Today, Jean-Jacques with 15 years of experience, works with his
two passions: television for which he is a director )TF1) and shows, like today the pop-rock opera
«The Angels’s Life «

Vincent BELLE
After being part of the group «THE KOEUR’S» parainé by Dalida in 1983,
he started as a songwriter. He created the sound design for major sporting
events on TV )Rolland Garros, Tour de France, Olympic Games in Atlanta,
Nagano Olympics ....) He then designs the television sound for Ca se discute,
the 30 Dernières Minutes, C’est l’Heure…) and foreign televison channels
)PSN U.S. chain, chain Polynesian TNT, TV Morocco ...) In 2002, he was
involved in music advertising )Speedy little Marseilles, Sagem, Continent ...). Today he is
one of the leading composers of «Angels’s Life.»

Antonio de CARVALHO
Lighting designer, Antonio was responsible for the lights at the
Opera de Paris before working lights at the Palais des Congrès in
Paris for a few years. He signed the
lights for many concerts and shows including James Brown, Juglio
Iglesias, Maxime Le Forestier, Pierre Palmade, Michel Leeb ... but
also signs the design of the lights of the musical ROMEO and JULIET.

Daniel CENDRON
Specialist in casts and silicone, Daniel works for special costumes
and extraordinary transformations of the human body. Fake
body armor, accessories for fashion and
advertising ... Daniel works for the theater, opera and film.
Among his many accomplishments,the belly for Gerard Depardieu
in Asterix and Obelix, the characters of
the Euro Disney parade, breastplates film Jeanne d’Arc, masks for the Paris
Opera. He is the creator of the wings of «Angels’s Life».

• PERCUSSIONS - Daniel BELLEGARDE
Daniel Bellegarde is self-taught musician percussionist since 1980.
Along with music, he completed his BA in Sociology
at the University of Montreal. His debut in emerging world music scenes havetaken him
through the African and Caribbean music, followed by Brazilian music since 1984. He has
been several times to Senegal, Haiti and Brazil, to get better. A witness and actor in the
evolution of Brazilian music in Montreal, Daniel has had
the chance to work with artists such as Nico Beki, Paulo Ramos, Bïa, Monica Freire and Forrotimo
and the famous composer Marcos Valle.

• Vive angels
I loved my evening. Discovering new talents, congratulations to the young man
who played the main angel, he has a beautiful voice. I ‘d like to congratulate the
young lady who assisted the lead singer, she should have taken the lead role, her
voice being better than that of Eva’s. But basically I enjoyed the show. I would have
liked the stage to be bigger so that the dancers would have more space. Congratulations
to all the dancers I hope they will be noticed and that we will see them
in new musical.

• REALLY GOOD .... BUT .... REALLY VERY GOOD
It was a great evening of entertainment and was beyond my expectations ... the
quality of staging the opera was great, the dancers and singers were very very
good. I brought my close friend relentlessly as is often the case for men but this
time he loved it from beginning to end .... If I could, I would go back without
delay.Having had the opportunity to participate at its beginning when we were
invited to hear the music and discuss your vision. My astonishment throughout
the show was endless I ONCE AGAIN CONGRATULATE ALL THE TEAM .... and especially
congratulations to the new comers ... The youth was beautiful to see on
stage ... BRAVOS A THOUSAND TIMES .....

Come see for yourself on April 21 ... Why rely on the opinion of others?? You would

• Voices of Angels
I went tonight to see The Life of Angels, opera pop-rock, and I was pleasantly surprised
by the voices of all the singers ... really in tune and in note! ... Marie-Ève
Coté was sublime in its two roles of good and evil. And what about the dancers who
were all wonderful and very rhythmic! ... The only problem ... I found a little
difficult thing to get the beat at the beginning of this love story, but fortunately
there was a little angel on screen guiding us throughout the story!

The young singers are great. Beginning with clouds and singing behind curtain i
found it long, kid was cute but they dont let him breath between, lights in the eyes
annoying, dancers and singers -great, costumes - so-so, lacking perfection.

• Beautiful evening
It was my best friend and her husband who attended the presentation LVDA and
they told me they had a great evening. They had no expectations and therefore
simply enjoyed the moment and the fact that they had freebies, it was a great surprise!

• Great Show in its simplicity
Although this love story has been told so many ways, this time the succession of scenes
offers us a surprising endding. The use of multi-media helps the acting of the
parts. Words in music act as a balm and restore hope in the existence of true love. Must see
to believe.

Nice show, mostly enjoyedd by women, in any case certainly by mine: good singers,
modern and dynamic choreography and staging, we spend a good time. One
minor blame : improper adjustment of lights, run several times directly in our eyes, very
annoying!

• A beautiful sight not to miss!
Me and my 2 girlfriends loved this rock opera, I was impressed by the quality of the voices
and the sensitivity of the dancers was very moving, and dynamic at the
beginning of the second part. A beautiful show that soaked us in the energy of love,
energy to be spread at every moment!

I have to mention is that its a very good show at first for those who read about angels it’s
easier to understand the show even if there is a love story should keep an
open mind we were 4 people and we loved the singers and dancers, the ticket prices
could be a little less because its a bit expensive thank you for this excellent

• Love angelic
Thank you for this show at ATUVU.CA, we have been waiting for it a long time. Simple set
but using a round screen for the projection enhances the story and songs
not to mention the ‘little angel’ who gives us lots of anecdotes. A discovery: Eve Marie
Coté, former academician, who plays two roles. Good singers and dancers.
During intermission, surprise, we can talk to members of atuvu of the upcoming shows.
Anyhow, I had a lovely evening.

• Great superb production.
Basically, this is the story of an angel who leaves his wings to love earthling. So there are
angels, the world on earth and the world between the two worlds. This is
excellent. Kids dance well and sing well. The set is impressive with special effects and
lighting Not to forget the little angel that refreshes us by his delicious
comments. It was really good.
