FITZGIBBON Gerald Ernest George Fitzgibbon, MC, late Capt. Rifle Brigade. Son of Augustus Henry Fitzgibbon by his wife, Baroness Adele, daughter of Baron Ernest de Baben- Eohl, Bregenz, Austria. Born 1883, married 1stly, 1908, Mary Monica, only child of Hugh Marshall-Hole of Salisbury, Rhodesia (m. diss. by div. 1912) and had issue. Married 2ndly, Hèlène -----, by whom he had further issue. Living in Rhodesia in 1928. Quarterly, 1st and 4th, ermine, a saltire gules, on a chief Or three annulets of the second, 2nd and 3rd, argent, a lion passant between three crescents gules. Queen Victoria and to the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, grandson of Charles Fox of Foxdown and Tonedale and great-grandson of Thomas Fox of Tonedale House, Wellington. Born 7/7/1866 and married Miss Llewellyn Thomas. Served in the Matabele and Mashona Campaigns and in the Boer War and World War 1. Ermine, on a chevron azure three foxes' heads erased Or, a bordure fleuretty, and over all a canton of the second charged with a cup of the third ensigned by three fleurs-de-lis argent.
