the Chinese Im-
perial College in
Peking, China. It
shows every point
a t which the
nerves are affect-
ed by the kidneys
and their sub-or-
gan, the bladder.
Numerous ills are
caused by the im-
properfunction- ing of these or-
gans. In order to
reach the seat of
these diseases,
one must have
both a knowledge
of herbal compounds and of the ancient Chinese theories of anatomy
with regard to these organs.
Although the original of the accompanying sketch was made by
