Intro to SilverSneakers

New to SilverSneakers? Join us for a light

snack and learn about SilverSneakers and the Community

Recreation Center. We will walk you through the

paperwork, if you haven’t filled it out yet, give you a

facility tour, and explain the program benefits and SilverSneakers

eligible activities. For those with qualifying

Weight Room Orientation

Everyone is required to attend a Weight

Room Orientation, one Personal Training session,

or Weight Training 101/102 before using the weight

room. The orientation covers the basics of properly

using the cardiovascular and strength equipment.

SilverSneakers members pay $2 and scan card. Please

register in advance.

Weight Training

A certified personal trainer shows you how

to increase bone mass, muscle strength, flexibility and

cardiovascular fitness and improve your overall health.

Functional fitness assessments are taken the first and

last week. Classes are small for more individual attention.

Weight Training 102 is for the more advanced

student; however, beginners are welcome in the 2:45

class.

This class leads you through a series of exercises

using all the equipment, including free weights,
