compatible processes, to produce products at the 

highest quality level. in their entire life cycle polluting

investments, partly by means of organizational measures, 

noise and substance emissions as well as energy 

consumptions are reduced. As a consequence of this 

holistic process, limit values required by law are not 

only already met now, but considerably lower values 

are reached.

In the SANTORINI Compact simple, lean design and intelligent technology unit to produce a modern, timeless 

wood-burning stove. The integral secondary air device ensures optimum burn-out behaviour. High conveying

Caldera Compact 

The CALDERA Compact wood-burning stove is an addition to the successful product range of the ALID and 

GOLAYA family. The advantages of this wood-burning stove so far such as 

• Large, rounded window 

• Patented, self-closing fire box door for operation independent of the ambient air 

• Large fire box for size 33 cm logs 

are supplemented in the new model year by the innovative, aerated Olsberg door handle. 

From the 2009 season on, Olsberg supplies the CALDERA Compact with, besides the existing cladding variants steel, 

ceramics and natural stone, two more natural stone variants – Marble Ruivina BigStone and Sandstone Rainbow BigStone. 

These weighty claddings give the CALDERA Compact a completely new face and permit storage of a certain percentage

under this guiding idea that the patented 

Compact closing system was conceived. 

A door with the Compact closing system 

remains permanently tight, and it also closes 

with little sound and gently. Moreover, the 

hydraulic system is considered wearfree. 

The comfort aspect was likewise borne 

in mind during development at Olsberg. 

The door with the Compact closing system 

can be locked in the opened position. 

Cleaning of the fire box is done more 

easily thanks to this function. You have 

your hands free for the work as such. 

The closing mechanism is one of the 

important prerequisites for a woodburning 

stove obtaining approval for operation 

independent of the ambient air. 

After all, the heat generator must guarantee, 

under all operating conditions, adequate tightness in relation to the room where it is installed. An Olsberg stove door meets these 

high demands so that the appropriately equipped stove of the Compact series functions without any problems with an approved 

ventilation system without additional safety equipment. The closing system is used by Olsberg in the models of the Compact series.

With the Tolima Aqua Compact, Olsberg presents a particularly energyefficient 

woodburning stove. Its plus point – it has an innovative heating water technology 

which has an integral heatinsulated water pocket. The connection possibility for 

heating supply and return lines exists both at the rear and from below. 

With the help of the Olsberg installation unit with return line elevation and the 

Olsberg temperature difference controller the Tolima Aqua Compact can, as rule, 

be integrated into existing heating systems without any problems. 

Of 10 kW of nominal heat output, about 70 percent benefits the central heating 

system. 30 percent of the energy is passed on direct to the room of installation as 

pleasant radiation and convection heat. With this distribution, the stove will make 

a considerable contribution to supporting the inhouse heat and hot water supply 

and to thus achieving more favourable costs. 

Besides the advantages mentioned, the Tolima Aqua Compact is characterized 

by the patented Olsberg Compact door closing system. Handling and design are 

appropriately rounded off by the aerated door handle. Furthermore, the stove has 

a construction inspection authority approval for operation independent of the ambient 

air. Besides increased burnup and operating reliability, the modern Olsberg 

development can be operated, for example, without any further safety measures, 

together with an approved home ventilation system. 

With the compact dimensions, a space can be found for Tolima Aqua Compact 

in every habitable room. The individual design is carried out on the basis of the 

numerous surface variants from the areas of steel, ceramics or natural stone.

What characterizes a contemporary woodburning stove? Besides the look, the best 

possible technology for safe, lowemission operation. Starting from this premise, Olsberg 

designed the “Santorini Compact“. This modern stove has a secondary air device 

which is integrated directly into the equipment. 

Such a secondary air device, in trade circles known better as draught limiter, brings 

about a homogeneous chimney updraught. From 20 Pa, a rotary lock opens so that 

constant conditions are achieved in the waste gas section. In this way, even in the case 

of fluctuating wind and weather influences optimized burnout is ensured permanently, 

which is in turn manifested by a reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions and optimum 

cleanliness of the window. 

Besides this absolute innovation the woodburning stove “Santorini Compact“ exhibits other advantages typical of Olsberg. That 

includes, for example, the patented Compact door closing system, the controlled combustion air supply and the greatest possible 

window cleanliness, which is additionally ensured by means of the integral secondary air device.
