betFIRST is an online betting service provided by the Belgian company Sagevas S.A. (« Sagevas ») who own an
official licence (F1+) given to them by the Gambling Commission.
Please read carefully the General Conditions of Use which form an agreement between Sagevas and the user.
By clicking 'I accept the General Conditions of Use' on the Registration page, you recognise that you have read
the present conditions as well as the betting rules and that you are bound by them since their last update. In case
of disagreement with the General Conditions of Use of the betFIRST site, the user is in no way obliged to click 'I
accept the General Conditions of Use' and should stop their use of the betFIRST site and services.
Please read the General Conditions of Use carefully and make sure you understand the content. If you have any
doubts concerning your rights or obligations in regards to accepting these Conditions, please consult a lawyer. It
is important that you are well informed about the current laws before registering. Certain gambling games can be
prohibited by law under certain jurisdictions and according to certain conditions, or even prohibited by law under
certain jurisdiction and under no conditions. betFIRST assumes no responsibility in terms of questions of
jurisdiction.

I - GENERAL CONDITION OF USE
1. Introduction
betFIRST is an online betting service provided by SAGEVAS S.A which is a Belgian company registered to the
BCE under the number 0832.457.166 and resides at 4000 Liège - Boulevard d’Avroy, 26. Sagevas is owner of F1
licence N° FA116764 appointed by the Gambling Commission.
1.1. These General Conditions of Use (hereafter referred to as 'GCU') regulate the use of the betFIRST site
(hereafter referred to as 'the Site') by the user.
1.2. With respect to Belgian law and regulations defined by the Gambling Commission, access, creation of an
account and use of the betFIRST site is strictly prohibited to those under the age of 18.
1.3. By accepting the Terms and Conditions on the registration page, you acknowledge that you have read and
accepted:
• the present GCU of the site, as well as
• the 'Confidentiality Charter';

• the 'Rulebook' which contains the rules applicable to sports bets;
• the 'Special Conditions' applicable to different promotional offers and bonuses.
1.4. If you disagree with the terms of our GCU and don't accept to be bound by them, you must leave the Site
immediately and stop using the betFIRST services.
1.5. The present GCU will cease being valid if the parties involved in them cease to to exist.
2. Definitions
The following words and terms, when used in this contract, will take the meaning that is stated below, unless any
statement is made to the contrary:
SAGEVAS : Operator of online games, providing legal sport betting services via the website betFIRST.be and its
declensions.
GCU: General Conditions of Use of the Site;
User account: personal account opened by an individual and managed by the operator so that the user may
place online bets;
Username and password: identifiers chosen by the user upon creation of the betFIRST account;
You, the user: the user of the betFIRST services via the internet site;
Us: betFIRST.
3. Interpretation
Unless stated otherwise:
3.1. References to the present GCU include all references to future eventual modifications of the GCU;
3.2. In case of conflict between the GCU and any other document, the present GCU will take precedence. In the
case of bonuses and offers which are subject to special conditions, these will take precedence over the GCU,
unless stated otherwise;
3.3. If one of the present GCU rules is declared void or inapplicable, it must be considered as having been
replaced by a valid rule which reflects as closely possible the condition laid out by the former. This in no way
affects the other GCU rules;
3.4. By not exercising the rules and rights expressed in the GCU, we are in no way denouncing or abandoning
these rights;
3.5. The current GCU rules constitute the agreement observed by you and us concerning use of the Site and
replace, if any, previous agreements.

4. Personal Information
4.1 We reserve the right to demand certain personal information in order to create your account. This information
includes, but is not limited to, your first names, surname, sex, date of birth, address, email, phone number,
language, currency and passport or identity card number. The user must also create a username and choose a
password.
4.2 The information provided by the user must be accurate at the time of registration. The user can at any time
access his or her account and edit their personal information, including home address in the 'My Account' section
of the Site or by contacting the Customer Services at support@betfirst.be. Failure to update personal information
with result in the rejection of transactions by the user's bank, building society or credit card provider and we retain
no responsibility for the rejection of such transactions due to failure to provide correct personal details. It is also
the user's responsibility to protect his credit card against loss or theft and to contact Customer Services
immediately if the card is lost or stolen. Please note that no modifications can be made to name, surname and
date of birth once registered, unless sufficient proof is provided and all changes are executed in accordance with
laws in your country of residence.
4.3 Usernames must not be obscene, threatening, racist, pejorative, libellous or in violation of any intellectual
property or rights of another. If we consider, at our discretion, that a username is inappropriate, we reserve the
right to refuse it at any point, without telling the user.
4.4 The username and password must not be revealed to a third party and the user is responsible for all actions
using the Service carried out by another party. Every failure to comply with the GCU by a third party is the
responsibility of the user.
4.5 In case of loss or forgetting of passwords or if the user suspects a third party has access to their account, the
user must inform betFIRST immediately.
4.6 betFIRST reserves the right to demand a copy of a valid form of photographic identification (copy of ID card,
passport or driver's licence) before reactivating the user's account.
4.7 betFIRST can at any point change the password or username of an Account and will inform the user of the
modifications made by using the contact details provided at registration.
4.8 betFIRST guarantees the safety of your personal details against any unauthorised access. The user is
however responsible for the access of any third party to their confidential information.

4.9 The information provided by the user is strictly confidential and will be used by betFIRST and, if need be, one
or more of the company's groups in order to create and manage the user's Account, to group client profiles and to
provide you with access to the Services available on this site.
4.10 The information provided by the user is strictly confidential. It is, however, the responsibility of betFIRST to
provide necessary information to the judicial authorities in the case of criminal inquest.
4.11 Personal information is used by betFIRST to create and manage the user's account. betFIRSTwill also use
this information for commercial means unless the user expresses their desire for the contrary when registering at
the Site. In case of acceptance, betFIRST can use the user's personal information to send them direct marketing
emails and SMS messages concerning new products and/or offers that we feel would interest them, offered by
both ourselves and other groups within the company. The user will receive these offers from registration. The
user can choose to unsubscribe by contacting our Customer Services at support@betfirst.be.
4.12 For more information concerning your personal data and its use, please consult our Confidentiality Charter.
5. Creation of account
5.1 Before being able to place bets with betFIRST, you must first create an account ('the Account') on the Site, for
security reasons. You can create your account from the Registration page.
5.2 In order to register with betFIRST, you must be at least 18 years old. You acknowledge that use of the Site is
prohibited to those under 18 and that you will not help a minor to open an Account.
5.3 Once registered, you accept to abide by the GCU at all times.
5.4. You can neither request nor open an Account if you are acting on behalf of someone else or for the profit of a
third party.
5.5 All information provided by you from your registration and opening of an Account as well as in your utilisation
of the Site, must be complete, precise and true at the time. You must inform betFIRST immediately if you need to
modify any of your personal information.
5.6 By accepting the present GCU, you certify that the origins of the funds used by the user are not illegally
sourced and that you will never use the Service as a means of transferring money. You will not use the Service
for an illegal or fraudulent activity (including money laundering), in conformity with the law. Should betFIRST have
the slightest doubt about the legality of the origin of funds used by the user in online gambling,

etFIRST reserves the right to terminate or block the account(s) of any user, at any point, until the problem has
been resolved.
5.7 You are not allowed to either open an Account or use our Services if you or a member of your household is,
or has been over the past two years, our employee or an employee of a Sagevas group. 'Employee' signifies
agents, suppliers, developers or associates and all people affiliated with betFIRST. 'Affiliated with betFIRST'
signifies betFIRST and any holding or subsidiary company of betFIRST, any subsidiary company of the
aforementioned holding company and any of the groups linked with such a holding or subsidiary company.
5.8 Multiple accounts are prohibited on betFIRST. We reserve the right to terminate multiple accounts belonging
to one name or person. If we have reasonable doubt to believe that you have committed or tried to commit fraud,
we reserve the right to cancel any transactions, bonuses or relevant promotions. In the GCU, 'fraud' can include
'abuse of bonuses'. Abuse of bonuses can include, but is not limited to, opening more than one account in order
to obtain several bonuses or advantages. Only one account is allowed per IP address. betFIRST can, at its
discretion or in the case where we consider multiple accounts to have been opened by mistake, credit the first
open Account with money but close the other accounts.
5.9. You acknowledge that funds deposited in your account will not gain interest and that betFIRST is not to be
treated as a financial institution.
5.10. You acknowledge that betFIRST prohibits the use of automated, electronic or other applications in the
automatic decision making process of any game on the Site, whether the attempted is made by you or a third
party. If betFIRST suspects the use of such an application on the Site, betFIRST reserves the right to cancel all
bets made with the help of such an application and/or exclude the user from any Promotions or Game in which
such an application could be used, and/or suspend the Account in question during the investigation and to close
the Account at its discretion. betFIRST considers the use of any such application as attempted fraud and
reserves the right, in such a case, to not reimburse funds from the closed Account and to cancel all bets still
being played.
5.11 You cannot open an Account if you live in a country in which the opening of an Account and/or the use of our
Services is illegal ('Prohibited countries'). It is your responsibility to ensure that online gaming is legal within your
jurisdiction. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your Account if we discover that your Account has
been opened or used in a Prohibited Country which include, but are not limited to, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Estonia,
Iran, Israel, Romania, the Sudan, the Philippines, the Unites States of America, France, Spain, Bahamas, Hong
Kong, Italy and its overseas territories (DOM-TOM).

5.12 We cannot provide testament to the legality of online gaming in your country, nor can we accept
responsibility for any sanction imposed upon you by the governing authority of your country for the illegal use of
this Site.
5.13. From the creation of your account, certain personal information must be provided and betFIRST reserves
the right to ask for proof of this information, for security reasons.
5.14 In order to create an account, you must create a username and password to identify your account.
Usernames must not be obscene, threatening, racist, pejorative, libellous or in violation of any intellectual
property or rights of another. If we consider, at our discretion, that a username is inappropriate, we reserve the
right to refuse registration and prohibit your use of that username at any point, without previous warning.
6. Currency
The following currencies are accepted on our site: Euros (EUR/€). The currency you use must be the same as
the one chosen when you opened your Account for the first time. We reserve the right to suspend the placement
or the outlay of bets and/or winnings respectively in certain currencies and to pay funds in the corresponding
currency into your account.
7. Use of your player account
7.1 Your account is strictly personal. No-one apart from you may use, play or bet with your Account, or use it to
accept payment of winnings, bonuses or prizes. The use must above all ensure that minors and other vulnerable
people do not have access to their account.
7.2 Under no circumstances must your reveal your user details to a third party and you are responsible for their
possible use or abuse.
7.3. Bets are only valid if they have been accepted on to our servers. Until acceptance of a bet by a server, all
information concerning the bet or game is considered an invitation to play and/or bet.
7.4. In order to place a bet you must have sufficient funds in your Account.
7.5. Only bets placed from your Account will be accepted and all winnings created with our Services will be
credited to your Account. You can make deposits or withdrawals from your 'my Account' page, in adherence with
the GCU.
7.6. Once your bet has been validated, you cannot cancel it.

7.7. Bets are only valid is they have been accepted on to our servers. Until acceptance of a bet by a server, all
information concerning the bet or game is considered an invitation to play and/or bet.
7.8. We reserve the right to refuse or limit bets at our discretion, for whatever reason. If a bet is considered or
declared void by us, the amount deducted from your Account will be recredited to it.
7.9. The maximum win possible for any one client within a week (Monday to Sunday) is €50,000. If a client
extends beyond this limit, betFIRST reserves the right to reduce the winnings amount to its weekly limit.
7.10. betFIRST prohibits the use of automated, electronic or other applications in the automatic decision making
process of any game on the Site, whether the attempted is made by you or a third party. If betFIRST suspects the
use of such an application on the Site, betFIRST reserves the right to cancel all bets made with the help of such
an application and/or exclude the user from any Promotions or Game in which such an application could be used,
and/or suspend the Account in question during the investigation and to close the Account at its discretion.
betFIRST considers the use of any such application as attempted fraud and reserves the right, in such a case, to
not reimburse funds from the closed Account and to cancel all bets still being played.
7.11. We will carry out random security tests at our discretion. You accept that we could ask you for
supplementary information in a security test and that we can suspend, close your account or withhold your
payment until we receive the requested information.
7.12. All inactive accounts with a positive balance will be screened regularly and we will attempt to inform you via
email that funds remain in your account. You are free at any point to withdraw your funds, which have been held
in your Account by us. If no transaction occurs within 6 months, your Account with be classified as 'Asleep'. If
your Account is 'Asleep', we will return your funds to you from this Account, or if we are unable to locate you, the
Asleep Account funds will be paid to the Gambling Commission.
7.13. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the use of all or certain gaming or betting services,
temporarily or indefinitely, at any point, without explanation or compensation, provided this adheres with all
previous regulations and General Conditions.
7.14. All complaints relative to the history of your Account or its funds must reach us within the 14 days following
the date of its publication online. The continued use of the Site from the period after those 14 days will signify
your acceptance of the history.

8. Financial Transactions
8.1. You are entirely responsible for any payments due to betFIRST in case of conflict, you cannot refuse
payment or reverse transactions and you must also compensate betFIRST for any fines charged because of your
payments. betFIRST can, as its discretion, block access to the Service or stop paying certain users.
8.2. betFIRST reserves the right to check the solvency of any of its users using the information provided at
registration or via a third party.
8.3. When opening a betFIRST account, the user must make a minimum deposit of €20 in order to play.
Thereafter, the minimum deposit amount is €10. You can make a deposit at any time using your credit or debit
card, an electronic waller, a prepaid card or a bank transfer. Please note that the available payment methods will
depend on your currency and jurisdiction.
8.4. Players can make deposits of a maximum of €1000 per week.
8.5. betFIRST reserves the rights to request additional information and proof of age, identity and home address
before permitting withdrawals, in order to verify your identity. Such information and proof is necessary for security
reasons and allows us to verify the personal information given at registration in comparison with those you
provide us with. In such case where the information is different, we reserve the right to cancel any bets which
have been placed.
8.6. betFIRST's customer services will allow a withdrawal request, only after verifying the identity of the user and
the player account, and after having confirmed that the player has no outstanding payments to betFIRST. All
withdrawal requests will therefore require user authentification.
8.7. Funds may be withdrawn at any point. However specific rules apply to bonus withdrawals. A minimum
Playthrough (number of minimum bets that must be placed before being able to withdraw your bonus) must be
carried out to unblock your bonus. The conditions of use concerning bonuses can be found on the Site under the
Promotional Offers and Bonuses Conditions.
8.8. If we credit money to your Account through a promotional offer, this money can only be used to place bets on
our Site. You cannot withdraw these funds, unless stated otherwise in the promotional conditions.
8.9. We reserve the right to pay withdrawals, either in part or in whole, via one of our intermediary payment
methods with which deposits are made by you.

8.10. Users can withdraw a minimum amount of €20 from their betFIRST user accounts and any sum above this.
If your account contains €20 or less and you wish to close your BetFIRST account, we ask that you contact us at
support@betfirst.be and we will handle the transfer.
9. Closure of player account
9.1 In case of failure to comply with the GCU and other conditions of the Site, we reserve the right to, at any
point, without prior warning and with disregard for all subsequent measures which would be taken, to suspend
your Account, refuse you access to part of all of our Services, notably the placing of bets, games or transactions
or withdraw our promotional offers whilst the case is resolved. If we suspect that you have used the Site for
money laundering, all positive funds in your Account will be blocked and will be used to cover the fees owed by
you...
9.2 The user and betFIRST can decide to put an end to this agreement any point.
9.3 betFIRST can close the user's Account in the case of fraud, infraction or suspicion of fraud or of infraction of
the GCU by the user. Under this condition, betFIRST reserves the right to not reimburse the funds remaining in
the user's account.
9.4 If your account has a positive balance, it is your responsibility to inform us should you wish to withdraw it and
close your Account, following which, we will proceed to send your money via transfer to your Bank Account. Any
bets left in play will be cancelled.
9.5 Upon closure of the Account of one of the parties, unless a statement is made to the contrary and provided
that all other previously agreed rights and obligations have been fulfilled prior to the closure, the two parties will
be mutually absolved of any obligation towards the other.
9.6 Please note that your Account will not close unless by it has been by Us or You in the cases specified above.
9.7 You can end this Contract, at any point, by writing to betFIRST at support@betfirst.be, provided that you
have no outstanding payments due to betFIRST. The termination of the Contract will take effect only once you
have received written confirmation from betFIRST. From the moment when the Contract has been terminated,
you are no longer permitted to use the services of the Site.
9.8 betFIRST advises the card holder to print receipts of all betFIRST transactions, rulebooks, regulations and
payment methods.

10. Compensation
The user will compensate (lawyer fees included) all members of the Sagevas group and its partners in case of
legal action, complaint or request made by a third party and caused by or as a result of the violation of the GCU,
or documents to which the GCU refer, or by the user's violation of laws and rights concerning third parties
through the user's use of the site, or through another person using the user's account details (username and
password) with or without their permission.
11. Responsible gaming
11.1 The game must be an entertaining activity and must not become an addiction or a means of controlling
financial problems.
11.2 The user can at any point, after registering and opening an Account, ban themselves from using our
Services and block their Account, either temporarily or permanently. Once the request has been carried out and
the Account has been block and/or shut, no bets can be placed from it and the user will no longer receive
advertisements from us. If the user requests to be banned permanently, we will close their account and we will
request that all funds are withdrawn from the Account. In such cases where the user does not withdraw his funds,
we will close the account regardless in order to fulfil the user's ban request. In order to attain any remaining funds
in the account, the user must contact our customer services.
11.3 No account blocked permanently upon request by the user can be unblocked during this period. We will do
our best to ensure that any user who requests permanent exclusion from our services cannot open a new
account on our Site. However, should such a case arise wherein the user manages to open a new account using
false information or any other method, the user must accept responsibility for any losses he suffers using the
betFIRST services. In such cases wherein we discover that a user has used false information or other illicit
methods to open an account on our Site, we reserve the right to close the account immediately. Consult our

11.4 betFIRST reserves the right to block the account of any user is suspects to be addicted.
11.5 If the user alerts betFIRST to their addiction, betFIRST will do everything possible to advise the user about
helpful services.

12. Addiction
Unfortunately, for some people the game becomes an addiction which can lead the psychological, social and
financial problems. We try to prevent these risks as much as possible and use games which are entertaining.
We have taken several measures in order to limit risk of addiction and gambling to excess:
• Providing information to players about responsible gaming
• Use of auto-exclusion mechanisms
• Providal of assitive services
• Responsible advertising
• Prohibition of playing on credit
Information for players on responsible gambling
The Sagevas's website provides its players with an information section on responsible gambling. This section,
accessible and visible from the site's home page, informs players of the risks associated with excessive or
pathological gambling and includes a warning message about playing with moderation as well as information
about gambling addiction. The section indicates help services available to addicted players and is available from
every page on the website.
This section informs players about our self-banning and limiting mechanisms as well as the list of banned players
controlled by the gambling commission.
The provision of self-banning mechanisms
Sagevas works to provide players with tools to help them ban themselves from the Sagevas site. The player
determines the length of their temporary exclusion, which can be no less than 7 days.
The client's request for self-banning is taken into account immediately. This means the deactivation of the
player's account during the specified time period or indefinitely, if the player has not indicated any.
During the banned period, Sagevas will not encourage the player, by any means, to change their decision. During
the banned period as determined by the player, Sagevas will not communicate any individualised advertisements
to the player.
The definitive banishment of the player will mean the closure of their account by the operator. The player cannot
open a new account for three years from the date of this closure.

Sagevas respects ethical codes concerning advertising and addiction, as well as the rules established on the
subject by the Gambling Commission.
Ban on playing with credit
Sagevas works to never promote gambling with credit, in adherence with both the law and the practical ethics of
responsible gambling. No link shall be made between gambling and credit. In this way, Sagevas works to never
allow gambling with credit nor facilitate access of players using credit to the site.
As such, direct transfers from one player's account to another is strictly forbidden, as this could constitute a form
of credit between them and could potentially lead to debt.
13. Limits of responsibility
13.1. betFIRST is in no way responsible for losses and/or damages, either direct or indirect, that either you or a
third party suffers due to your use of the site, its content or any other link suggested by betFIRST.
13.2. betFIRST is in no way responsible for losses and/or damages, either direct or indirect, that you or a third
party suffers due to any modification, suspension or interruption of the Service.

13.3. betFIRST is in no way responsible for losses, which includes but is not limited to loss of winnings, resulting
from the malfunction of the Service following any delay, interruption, transmission, loss or corruption of data,
malfunction of communication lines, misuse of the Site or its content by anyone, error, omission or any factor
independent of our control. If winnings are cashed or received into your account due to a site error,
betFIRST reserves the right to retrieve any such winnings from which you may have benefited during the error
and you are automatically obliged to repay betFIRST the amount cashed and to inform betFIRST of the error.
betFIRST reserves the right, at its discretion, to directly deduct the amount you erroneously received from your
account.
13.4 betFIRST is in no way responsible for Acts of God (force majeure).
14. Promotions
By accepting any prize and/or winnings for one or several games you irrevocably agree to the use of your
username or your name plus family initials being used for publicity and promotional purposes, without any
compensation. We can also contact you to ask your permission to use other details which concern you, in the
same situation.
15. Technical faults
15.1 In case of software error or technical fault, which is or can be proved by betFIRST on their systems or those
provided to them, bets will be cancelled. You will receive the sum total of the amount placed on your bet or game.
betFIRST excludes at present, all new responsibility for such a fault in either the site or the betting software.
15.2 Any user who detects a fault with our betting software must informer betFIRST as soon as the fault is
discovered by contacting our Customer Services at support@betfirst.be.
15.3 betFIRST can take all necessary measures in case of client abuse and technical faults, including but not
limited to blocking the concerned betFIRST account, freezing funds, refusing and/or cancelling payment of
winnings resulting from this technical fault. If the funds are insufficient in the concerned account, betFIRST is
authorised to reclaim or appropriate the amount in relation to all gains resulting from an error and will be
considered as owing to betFIRST until complete reimbursement.
16. Intellectual Property
16.1 All copyrights, brands, patents and other intellectual property rights of any material or content (including but
not limited to software, data, applications, information, text, photographs, music, noise, videos, graphics, logos,
symbols, blueprints and other material) contained on the Site, ('content') belongs to us or has been conceded to

us for our profit by the owners of the rights as part of our Service. No use of this Content and the relative
intellectual property is allowed without clear written consent from the owner. All rights are strictly reserved.
16.2 Concerning the Content of the Site, the user will not sell, rent or allow any third party to access it, without
express permission; change, edit, modify, restructure or adapt it in any way, copy, redistribute or try to access the
source code for any purpose; use the Site illegally or for illegal gain or in any way which is contrary to the GCU.
16.3 In case of illegal activity being carried out on the site by the user, they will be entirely responsible for any
damages, cost or expenses resulting from it.
16.4 We permit you the untransferable, unceasing, unexclusive and personal right to see and use the Content via
the medium of your PC, mobile phone or all other forms of access, but only for personal and not commercial gain
and on the condition of your strict adherence to the general Conditions.
16.5 You can copy the Content in an unaltered form for private use on your PC, mobile phone or all other forms
of access if such a copy is used appropriately and in accordance with our Services and Content and if such a
copy is permitted by the copyright holder.
16.6 You must inform betFIRST immediately if you become aware of unauthorised use or copying of any part of
the Content or any other part of the site or any unauthorised access or activity relating to the site, including but
not limited to any activity prohibited in relation to the provided Service by anyone (physical or moral). You agree
to, within reason, provide us with help concerning the search we carry out in relation to the information you have
provided us with. You allow us a permanent, irrevocable, free, global licence to reproduce, expel, modify, adapt
and/or edit any Content provided by you on the site, by email or other form, according to our discretion and
without informing you, unless stated to the contrary by you.
17. General Points
17.1. We can delay the implementation of our rights in accordance with the GCU without renouncing or losing
them.
17.2. The act of not exercising rights from the GCU does not constitute a renouncement of these rights.
17.3. We are not responsible to you for any failure to execute the GCU due to extenuating circumstances or Acts
of God (force majeure).
17.4. The GCU form the main agreement between you and us on the subject of your use of the Service and
replaces any previous agreements concerning the Service.

17.5. If a part of the GCU is declared null or inapplicable, the nullified rule will be considered as having been
replaced by a valid one which reflects as closely as possible the intention of the original rule and the rest of the
GCU will continue to be valid.
17.6. The user accepts that we can modify, update or change the GCU in any way and at any point at our
discretion. Such alterations will be in effect as soon as the Website is updated and you are notified. It is the
responsibility of the user to ensure that he understands the GCU fully and that he understands that his continued
use of the site will be considered as valid acceptance on the changes made to the General Conditions.

18.1 You can contact the betFIRST Customer Service at any point if you have any doubts or if you require help.
In order to improve our services, telephone conversations may be recorded or monitored by members of our
team.
18.2 We will in no way tolerate insulting, abusive or violent behaviour towards our employees. If we consider your
behaviour to be as such, we reserves the right ro suspend and/or close your Account and/or take all other
measures necessary.
18.3 Should you have any complaints, please contact Customer Services using the contact forms provided in the
'Contact Us' section. We will do our very best to resolve any problems as soon as possible. If for any reason you
are dissatisfied with our response to your problem, you can make a complaint to the Gambling Commission
at www.gamingcommission.fgov.be/.
II. RULES
A. General Rules
betFIRST.be (hereafter betFIRST) is an online betting service created by the Belgian company
Sagevas S.A. (‘Sagevas’) who has an official licence (F1) from the Gambling Commission.
The following rules are applicable to all bets accepted by betFIRST, even if the client is unaware of
them. The player accepts the following conditions and rules upon registering.
The player must be aged at least 18 in order to participate.
Player deposits have a weekly limit, as stated by the rules given by the Gambling Commission.

A bet is considered as confirmed when you validate it on the betFIRST site and when the amount and
stake appears in your bet history, in your account. Once a bet has been confirmed, it is impossible to
alter or cancel it.
betFIRST reserves the right to refuse confirmation of the bet at any point, at its discretion. You can
contact Customer Services for more information as to why this could be.
In case of software error or technical fault, which is or can be proved by betFIRST on their systems or
those provided to them, bets will be cancelled. You will receive the sum total of the amount placed on
your bet or game. betFIRST excludes at present, all new responsibility for such a fault in either the
site or the betting software.
betFIRSTwill cancel bet(s) if:
8.1. The player has been informed in advance of the results of his bet;
8.2. The user has, in any way, an active influence of the outcome of his bet;
8.3. If the result has been made public during the validation of the bet;
8.4. If it is revealed that the results of the event were fixed beforehand.
The time indicated on the site constitutes the limit after which no more bets can be placed. This limit is
independent of the starting time of the event itself. The event winner is the one who has been
declared winner at midnight on the day of the event. All result modifications after that point have no
effect on bet results. However, if it is proved that the results had been fixed before the event, we
reserve the right to cancel the bet(s) in question and reimburse the user.
If the event is postponed or adjourned, the bets will be put on hold for a period of 24 hours, from the
original time. After that point, the bets will be cancelled. Please note that this rule does not apply to
tennis matches. However, bets whose results have already come out at the time of suspension will be
paid. If the details of the event turn out to be wrong (inversion of visit/team who is receiving) the bets
will be considered void. If at least two participants are declared the winner (ex aequo), the odds will
be recalculated so that the user’s winnings are divided by the number of ex aequo winners. Example:
A Formula 1 race in which Sebastian Vettel has the odds of 6.00 to win and Fernando Alonso has the
odds of 3.00 to win and the two cars pass the finish line at the exact same time. If you bet 5 euros on
Alonso to win, you winnings would be calculated as follows: 5 x (((6-1) /2) + 1) = 17.5 euros of
winnings. In case of anomaly/confusion between the name and number of the competitor, the
competitor’s number will be taken into account for the results of the bet.
Our records constitute the final proof of the validity of bets.
If you win, your winnings will be credited to your account as soon as possible.
The user can place several different types of bet:

13.1 Single bet - This is a prediction of one event. The most common determines the result of the match.
For example if CS Bruges plays against Anderlecht:

13.2 Combined bet – This is a combination of several bets within one bet. You win if all the results are

13.3 The system bet – this is a combination of at least 3 bets. You can win even if one of your predictions
turns out to be incorrect.

13.4 Handicap bet – With this type of bet you can give one of the teams an advantage. For example, if one
of the teams is considered to be weaker, they would benefit from a lead in goals. This advantage will be taken
into account at the end of the match and considered for your bet.
14. betFIRST reserves the right to demand ID, for security reasons.
15. betFIRST reserves the right to refuse to validate bets.

16. betFIRST reserves the right to change, supplement or adapt the content of these game rules at any time.
B. Specific Sport Rules
B.1. FOOTBALL
• All bets on football matches are valid for 90 minutes of normal time, including injury time, but
not extra time or penalties, except if you are informed otherwise, in particular for bets on teams
qualifying for the next round of a competition.
• Bets are open until the time indicated on the site, corresponding to the official scheduled kick
off time, except when live betting is possible during a particular match. All bets placed after the
start of a match will be considered null and void.
• If a match is stopped definitively before the 90 minutes have been played, bets are cancelled,
except when the result is already known. For example bets concerning the first goal-scorer or the
first goal.
• When an event (match or competition) is cancelled, postponed or abandoned, all relevant
bets will remain valid for 24 hours of the kick off time. If this event hasn’t started or restarted
during this 24 hour period, all bets will become null and void.
• If the location of the match changes, bets remain valid, unless it is has to be played in the
home team’s stadium, who originally were supposed to be playing away. In this case, all bets will
be considered to be null and void and will be cancelled.
Match result:
Bet on a home win, a draw or an away win.
Exact score: Bet on the exact score at the end of normal time.
Own goals count towards to final result.
Half time, full time:
Place a combination bet on the half time result AND the full time result of a match. Players have the choice of
nine possibilities. Extra time and penalties do not count.
Half time result: Bet on the half time result of the match.
Bets are cancelled if a match is cancelled before half time.
Exact half time score: Bet on the exact half time score at half time of the match.
Bets are cancelled if a match is interrupted before half time.
First team to score: Own goals are credited to the team that benefits from the own goal.

Last team to score in the match. Own goals are credited to the team that benefits from the own goal.
Result with handicap: Which team will win after calculating the handicap?
Example: Marseille -1 3.00 Draw 3.50 PSG +1 2.00
In this match, Marseille is the favourite and starts the game with a handicap of 1 goal. Marseille must win by
more than one goal difference in order to be considered the winner. If the player bets on Marseille and the final
score is 4 – 2, the player wins, because: 4 minus 1 (corresponding to the handicap) is the same as 3, and 3 is
still more
than 2 (the number of goals scored by PSG).
If the player bets on Marseille and the difference in goals is less than (a draw or a PSG win), the player loses his
bet.
If the player bets on Marseille and the team wins but just with one goal difference (3 – 2 for example), the player
loses his bet because 3 minus 1 is the same as 2. In this case, a draw is considered to be winning.
Double Chance: Bet on 2 of 3 possible outcomes of a match
There are three possible results: 1: The home team wins or the result is a draw
2: The away team wins or the result is a draw; 3: One of the two teams wins the match. If the match is played on
a neutral ground, the first team written is considered to be playing at home, in terms of the bets.
Number of goals: Bet on the total number of goals scored by both teams during the game.
There are three choices:
0 - 1 : one goal or less will be scored
2 - 3 : two or three goals will be scored
4 +: four or more goals will be scored
Number of goals line 2 : Bet on the total number of goals scored during the game. Only normal time
and injury time count.
2 possibilities:
Choice « 0-2 goals »: The total number of goals is not over 2 (0, 1 or 2 goals). The player will lose the bet if 3 or
more goals are scored in the match.
Choice «3 or more goals»: The total number of goals is over 2 (3, 4, 5 goals or more). The player will lose the bet
if 0, 1 or 2 goals are scored during the match.
Number of teams that score: Bet on the number of teams that score during a match.
Three results are possible:
Both teams score: both teams score at least 1 goal in the match.
Only one team scores: one team scores at least one goal, and the other doesn’t score.

Neither team scores: the match finishes as a goalless draw.
Both teams score: Predict that both teams score during the match.
The two possible choices are:
Yes: both teams must score at least 1 goal during the match.
No: One of the teams or both teams don’t score a goal during the match.
First goal time: bet on when the first goal will be scored.
You have the following possibilities:
• 1st - 15th Minute
• 16th - 30th Minute
• 31st - 45th Minute
• 46th – 60th Minute
• 61st – 75th Minute
• 76th – 90th Minute
• No goals
Only the goal time indicated by the broadcaster is binding and in case the match is not broadcast, by the
competition’s website.
If a match is abandoned or stopped, all bets are cancelled.
Fantasy League
During a fantasy league, two teams face each other virtually for round of games. The winner of this imaginary
match is the team scoring more goals in this round of games. For example: the imaginary game is Marseille
against Lyon. Marseille win 1-0 against Paris while Lyon loses 2-3 against Lille. In this case, Lyon wins this
imaginary game 2-1.
The nominated matches must be played on the scheduled dates for bets to stand. If one or both matches are not
played on the scheduled date and played in full for the stipulated time, all bets on the fantasy match-ups will be
void, unless the market can be unconditionally determined. E.g. the 1X2 market can be unconditionally
determined if a team in an abandoned match has already scored 2 goals and a team in a completed match only
scored 1 goal.
B.2. AMERICAN FOOTBALL
Unless otherwise stated, overtime is not considered for bets.
If a team is scheduled to play a match at home and the match is played outside of the State where the team is
based, bets will be cancelled.

B.3. AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL
Unless otherwise stated, all bets will be based on normal time. Normal time must be over for bets to be valid,
unless stated otherwise.
If the match is a draw, bets will be refunded, unless a prize is awarded for a draw. The official AFL results
determine the betting rules.
B.4. BASEBALL
General game rules: the official result announced by the official baseball league determines the betting rules.
Unless otherwise stated, Las Vegas rules, guidelines, payments and bet types are applicable. All competitions
must be started within 12 hours of the start time on the same day. Matches that are postponed by over 12 hours,
or to another day (local time), are not valid.
B.5. BASKETBALL
A basketball bet is determined on the basis of the aforementioned continuations, unless indicated otherwise.
B.6. BOXING
Round betting: If a fighter fails to answer the bell for the start of a round, then his opponent will be deemed to
have won in the previous round.
Points decision: If a fight is decided by a points decision before the full number of rounds has been completed,
then the winner will be deemed to have won in the round that the fight was stopped, and bets on either fighter to
win or points will be losers.
Fight Result: All bets will be settled on the result as declared in the ring and this is not subject to any revisions or
amendments after the contestants have left the ring.
B.7. CRICKET
If a match is cancelled because of extenuating circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel all bets placed on
said match. If a match is postponed and played on the same pre-determined day, all bets remain valid.

B.8. CYCLING
Winner of the competition and of the stage: the winner of the race or a stage is determined based on the result
announced at the podium ceremony. If there is no podium ceremony the winnings will be paid, without external
enquiry, according to the results declared by the official organisation.
The bets placed on the winner of the race or leg are still valid if the cyclist doesn’t pass the starting line. The bets
placed on the winner of the course or leg are still valid if the cyclist retires after the start of the competition or the
leg.
The leg or course must be finished by one of the cyclists in order for the bet to remain valid. If all the cyclists
retire, the bet will be cancelled.
B.9. DARTS
Winner bets: all bets remain valid, whether the player you bet on starts the game or not.
Competition bets: if the competition starts but does not finish, the player who passes to the next round is
considered the winner.
B.10. GOLF
Winner bets: all bet remains valid whether the player you bet on starts the game or not.
Eliminating matches determine the winner of the tournament. The ex-aequo rules apply to the rankings.
General rules: for tournaments affected by adverse weather conditions, the bet winnings will be paid according to
the official results, without taking into account the number of games played. If after the bet has been placed no
more games are played, the bet will be cancelled.
Tournament bets: if a ‘bet on a tied match’ is possible and the result of the match is a tie, bets on one player
winning will lose. Eliminatory matches count towards payment if a player wins the competition. If a player retires,
his competitor is considered the winner. If two players retire, the winner is the player with the lowest score. If a
player is disqualified, whether before the end of two rounds or after the qualification of two players, his competitor
is considered the winner. If a player is disqualified after his qualification and his competitor has already retired,
the disqualified player will be declared the winner.
Group bets/best U.K. player etc.: the groups are made up of four or more players. The winner is the player who
ranks top in the tournament. A player who retires is considered lost. If all the players retire, the bets will be paid in
accordance with the lowest score after retirement. The players are classed in groups only at the end of betting.
The ex-aequo rules are applicable, unless the winner is determined after retirement.
B.11. ICE HOCKEY
Winner, Conference and Division bets: all bets remain valid, in spite of team transfers, change of team name or
the length of the season.

Series bets: bets will be cancelled if the set number of matches is not reached or is changed by the official
organisations.
B.12. MOTORSPORT
Race bets: the results at the time of the award ceremony are the determinants of payment.
Championship bets: bets on all drivers and constructors remain valid, whether they participate in the race or not.
The official organisation result is the determinant of payment of bets.
Head-to-Head races (match bets): the winner is the driver who has the best final position or who has the highest
number of laps. The bets will be cancelled if the 2 selected drivers stop racing on the same lap. If one of the
drivers is not present at the parade lap, the Head-to-Head race bets will be cancelled.
Fastest qualifying driver: the driver who does the quickest qualifying lap is the winner. No demotion is taken in to
account for the bet. The official FIA ranking is the determinant, if the drivers have the same times.
Qualification bets: the driver who gets the best official qualification time is the winner. If one of the drivers one
which a bet has been placed is not at the qualification, the bets will be cancelled.
Expected rankings: the official FIA ranking is the determinant for these bets. Drivers who finished at least 90% of
the laps completed by the race winner, will qualify under the FIA and be included in bets under ‘expected
rankings’.
B.13. RUGBY UNION AND RUGBY LEAGUE
Unless stated otherwise, only the regulation time of the match is the determinant for any rugby bets made.
B.14. SNOOKER
Competition bets: for competition bets, winners are considered to be those who continue on to the next round, on
the condition that the first shot was made by one of the players during the first round. If no shot has been taken,
the bets are cancelled.
Handicap bets: all handicap bets will be cancelled if a competition is not played till completion (if the number of
rounds necessary to win is not completed).
Winner bets: the ‘ante-post’ rules are applicable.
B.15. WINTER SPORTS
The present conditions apply to the following winter sports: cross-country skiing, Alpine skiing, ski-jumping and
biathlon. The award ceremony is the determinant of the official results and thus the payment of bets, discounting

disqualifications. If the award ceremony does not take place, the bets will be paid according to the official
organised results.
For event bets, the ex-aequo rules are applicable, if there is more than one winner or if no prize is offered for a
tie.
If for whatever reason the event (other than the Olympic Games or the World Cup) is postponed or interrupted,
all bets will be cancelled, except if the event resumes and ends within 48 hours of the original date or if an official
result is announced within 48 hours of the original date.
If for whatever reason, an Olympic event or world cup event is postponed or interrupted, all bets will be
cancelled, unless they resume and conclude before the closing of the games.
Ski jumping: if a competitor qualifies once and completes a jump that is sufficient to be taken in to consideration
for the bets.
Nordic combination: the competitors must start the two sections of the event (ski jumping and cross country
skiing) and finish at least one competition for the bets to be valid.
B.16. TENNIS
If a match is interrupted and starts again within 48 hours, bets remain valid. If it is cancelled permanently, bets
are cancelled. If a player abandons the match before the end, only bets that can be processed will be processed.
For example, bets on “the winner of the second set” can be processed if a player abandons the in the 3rd set.
Bet on the result: bets on the result are only valid if the match is played to the end. If one of the players retires
early, all bets will be declared null and void and the odds will be placed at 1.00.
All bets remain valid under the following circumstances:
a) Change of court
b) Change of match location
c) Change from indoors to outdoors and vice-versa
B.17. ATHLETICS
Races and event bets: all bets remain valid, whether the athlete you placed the bet on participates in the
competition or not.
Head-to-head: the following rule applies to Head-to-head bets placed on two or three participants:
- One of the participants must qualify for the final in order for the bet to be valid.
-If only one participant reaches the final, the bets for this participant win.
- If none of the participants make it to the final, all the bets will be declared void and the odds will be fixed at 1.00.

B.18. DOG RACES
If a race is re-run, all the bets remain valid. If a prize has been fixed, the payment will be made on the starting
odds. If a race is cancelled and not re-run, all the bets placed on this race will be cancelled.
Bets on favourites deal with the performance of the favourites in a dog race. For each race, the favourite gets 15
points and 5 points if he finishes second. For ex-aequo favourites, the favourite who has the lowest trap number
will be considered the favourite for the bet payment. If a race isn’t finished or doesn’t take place, all bets are
cancelled.
Distance bets apply to the total winning distance within a race. The maximum winning distance for a race is 10
lengths. If a race isn’t finished or doesn’t take place, all bets are cancelled.
Trap bets concern the trap which has the highest number of winners in a dog race. The ex-aequo rules are
applicable in cases of a tie. If a race is not finished, it will be declared a tie. If a race finishes with an ex-aequo
result, the specified traps will be considered the winners.
B.19. SPECIAL BETS
Special bets are offered, for example, with themes such as Christmas, entertainment, political subjects or other
non-sporting themes or events. The rules for such special bets will accompany the corresponding offer.
