PULSE POINTS

Pulse point therapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses the

principals of aromatherapy by placing essential oils and blends of

essential oils strategically on the body to support healing of the

mind, body and spirit.

When essential oils are applied to the skin, their healing

components are believed to be absorbed into the bloodstream.

Pulse points corresponding to certain body systems are thought

to be an ideal location for application. Once absorbed, they may

disperse to the specific organs and systems on which they work.

1. Superficial Temporal Artery (side of forehead)

2. Carotid Artery (neck)

3. Apical Artery (heart)

4. Brachial Artery (inner elbow)

5. Femoral Artery (groin)

6. Radial Artery (wrist)

7. Popliteal Artery (behind knee)

8. Posterior Tibial Artery (ankle)

9. Dorsalis Pedis Artery (top of foot, between toe)

Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology in Cheney, WA, developed new equipment to measure the bio-frequency of humans and foods. He used this bio-frequency monitor to

determine the relationship between frequency and disease.

Measuring in megahertz (MHz), it was found:

• processed and canned foods had a zero MHz frequency

• fresh produce measured up to 15 MHz

• fresh herbs measured 12-27 MHz

• dry herbs 2-27 MHz.

• Essential oils started at 52 MHz and went as high as 320 MHz, which is the frequency of pure Rose essential oil.

He also found a healthy body typically has a frequency range of 62-78 MHz, while disease began at 58 MHz. Clinical research shows essential oils, having the highest known

frequency known to man, may create an environment in which microbes, disease, bacteria, fungus, etc. cannot survive.

The chemistry and frequency of essential oils are believed to support and aid with optimal health.

REFLEXOLOGY POINTS

The underlying theory behind reflexology is that

there are “reflex” areas on the feet and hands that

correspond to specific organs, glands, and other

parts of the body, For example:

• The tips of the toes reflect the head

• The heart and chest are around the ball

of the foot

• The liver, pancreas and kidney are in

the arch of the foot

• Low back and intestines are towards

the heel

Applying therapeutic essential oils to these reflex

areas may promote health in the corresponding

organs through energetic pathways.
