1 st Executive Council Meeting held
at KMC, Manglore at 01:30 pm on 03-02-2013.
1. The President Dr. S. D. Nanadkar ; at chair; called the meeting
open with welcome address to all newly elected members of
Governing Council ( 2013-2016) .
2. Returning officer Dr. C. Rammohan and his team members Dr. L.
Fimate, Dr. B.D.Gupta, Dr. G. Praddep Kumar, Dr. O.P. Murthy
were conveyed sincere thanks for conducting election of
Governing Council( 2013-2016).
3. It was resolved that General Secretary shall gather contact details
of all the GC members and circulate among them at the earliest
for future communication.
4. It was resolved that that General Secretary shall do necessary for
printing new letter head of GC( 2013-2016).
5. It was proposed by President to authorize Treasurer( Dr.S.K.
Dadu)- to receive life membership application forms and fees for
the same in the cash from the delegates interested to become
member today it self. Dr. Mukesh Yadav seconded the proposal
and subsequently proposal was resolved by all members.
Treasurer accepted the proposal and ensured to deposit all fees
received in cash shall be deposited in account of IAFM.
6. 6. To prioritize the issue of renewal of IAFM with Registrar of
7. Societies at Panji, Goa; General Secretary( with permission of
8. chair) invited Dr. Andre Fernandes of Goa Medical College to have
9. first hand information of the renewal process .It was proposed by
10. Dr Cyriac Job that a faculty from Department of Forensic
11. Medicine, Goa Medical College may be co-opted as GC member
12. to ensure regular follow up and update.

1 st Executive Council Meeting held

Dr. Mukesh Yadav seconded the proposal and it was resolved by
all that Dr. S.D. Sapeco or Dr Andre Fernandes or any other
faculty from Department of Forensic Medicine, Goa Medical
College shall be considered for co-option. The GC will study
provision within by laws and inform the co opted member about
the decision.
7. Dr. T.K. Bose proposed that once the e-mail contacts are
circulated among the members ; a “close group” of all members
shall take place on web. General Secretary assured to respond to
his proposal positively at the earliest.
8. GC members shared various issues related to updating the official
website.Dr. Pankaj Gupta proposed that President, General
Secretary, Editor & Treasurer shall have official e-mail id for all
official communication among IAFM members and office bearers.
Dr. Tulsi Mahto seconded the proposal. It was resolved that
matter shall be put forward to “webonreality”- service provider for
the website. In the light of this; It was also resolved that office
bearers shall use their name and office of IAFM only; avoiding all
other personal information & On completion of tenure of office the
username and passwords shall be conveyed to next office bearers
to continue the same e-mail addresses.
9. All the members unanimously congratulated Dr. B.Suresh Shetty
( Oraginising Secretary) and his team for successfully organizing
“Forensic Medicon 2013”- 34 th Annual National Conference of
IAFM.
10. The meeting was concluded by vote of thanks by the General
Secretary.
