when, after a few years at Kingswood Chapel, he emigrated to Australia.<br />

acquired a great reputati<strong>on</strong> as an opthalmic surge<strong>on</strong>, and became <strong>on</strong>e <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> recognised leaders in that speciality in Australia, his practice not being<br />
c<strong>on</strong>fined to his own col<strong>on</strong>y, but extending to Tasmania and New South<br />
