<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> exilerienced hand <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Mr. Alfred Wm. Worthingt<strong>on</strong> in 1886-1889-three<br />
pamphlets <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> greatest arch~ological value and interest. It will not<br />
be necessary here to do much more than deal with references to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> parts<br />
taken by thi ministers <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> this society in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> Double Lectures and <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

The first recorded name, at present, <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> any Dudley Double Lecturer is<br />
that <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> George Flower, who, in 1723, was <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> first <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> two lecturers that<br />
year, his compani<strong>on</strong> being James Tliomps<strong>on</strong>, minister at Bromsgrove,<br />
Stourbridge has, from <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> beginning <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> N<strong>on</strong>th9 Meetzizg, in 1782,<br />
always been <strong>on</strong>e <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> its regular ga<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ring places. The first time was <strong>on</strong><br />
