Gasquoine, B.A., <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> senior trustee, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>n minister <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> C<strong>on</strong>gregati<strong>on</strong>al<br />
Church, Oswestry, and now resident in Bedford without charge ; <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> late<br />
Rev. Charles Beard, B.A., minister <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Renshaw Street Chapel; Liverpool ;<br />
and <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> late Rev. Edward Myers, F.G.S., minister <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> High Street Church,<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> oldest n<strong>on</strong>c<strong>on</strong>forming c<strong>on</strong>gregati<strong>on</strong> in Shrewsbury, also a trustee from<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> first until his death.<br />
The permanent brick school-house was built behind <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> church, and<br />
opened for use <strong>on</strong> Wednesday, 28 January, 1880.<br />
The year 1892 must ever be memorable in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> annals <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> this c<strong>on</strong>gre-<br />
gati<strong>on</strong> as that in which Mrs. John Gresty (neb Martha Pininnah Bancr<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>t,<br />
d. 30 November, 1893) and her husband marked <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> close <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> author's<br />
third year <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> ministry here by :-<br />
(a) The gift <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> site <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> Church.<br />
(b) The gift <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> site <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> School-house.<br />
(c) The gift <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> two adjoining cottages and site for <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> future building<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a minister's residence.<br />
In accepting this noble gift, and so terminating <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> temporary nature<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> trust, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> c<strong>on</strong>gregati<strong>on</strong> recognized it as a fitting opportunity for<br />
carrying out <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> d<strong>on</strong>ors' wishes-wishes in which minister and people were<br />
<strong>on</strong>e-that <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> present church, and any future <strong>on</strong>e to be erected up<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
land, should be known as <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>
