occasion <strong>of</strong> his death, <strong>the</strong> chapel was crowded to excess, <strong>the</strong>re being on that
evening an increase <strong>of</strong> numbers from about eighty to nearly six hundred

is this entry by Ebenezer Keay :-October 7, 1745, Robert, son <strong>of</strong> Robert Gentleman,
a Scotclznzan, at Whitchurch.]
