Promoting fun, active participation for all!
Marie Burland was recently honoured at the Ontario Sport
Awards for her outstanding work with intramurals and
developing a strong base for student involvement in
physical activity, dance, and sport.
This time of year is also a time to celebrate the amazing
contributions of some people. This year we recognized
Robert Matheson from the Upper Canada District School
Board as the Young Professional as he actively engages
his students in promoting and engaging in fun active
participation for all. Supporting CIRA Ontario’s mission with
a creative passion is Bill Serbin, from Manitoba, who received
the Doyle/Harkness Honorary Award. Nancy Gamble from
Allegra Print has done an amazing job printing our resources
in an economical and professional manner and so she
deservedly receives the Honorary Award. As your intramural
year comes to an end take time to celebrate the unique
contributions of leaders in your programs.
