A sad reality: our dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g <strong>water</strong> is not always as clean as it should be.<br />
Chlor<strong>in</strong>e, CHC (chlor<strong>in</strong>ated hydrocarbon), residues from pesticides <strong>and</strong> herbicides,<br />
micro-organisms <strong>and</strong> drug residues flow along with our tap <strong>water</strong>. Corrosion<br />
<strong>and</strong> dirt particles gett<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>to <strong>the</strong> pipework as a result of defects <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>water</strong><br />
distribution often add to <strong>the</strong> problem.<br />

Triple protection <strong>in</strong> a s<strong>in</strong>gle backwash filter<br />
The new <strong>SYR</strong> <strong>POU</strong> top performance <strong>potable</strong> <strong>water</strong> filter is <strong>in</strong>stalled, where <strong>potable</strong> <strong>water</strong> is drawn off for cook<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong><br />
dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g: at <strong>the</strong> Po<strong>in</strong>t of Use. This new <strong>SYR</strong> filter offers triple protection: aga<strong>in</strong>st dirt particles, micro-organisms <strong>and</strong> sediments<br />
<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>water</strong> <strong>–</strong> no matter how t<strong>in</strong>y <strong>the</strong>y are. In <strong>the</strong> past, you had to <strong>in</strong>stall a f<strong>in</strong>e mesh filter, an activated carbon filter <strong>and</strong> a<br />
bacteria filter to get a similar result. Only if <strong>the</strong> filter cartridges were exchanged on a regular basis (= high ensu<strong>in</strong>g costs),<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>water</strong> rema<strong>in</strong>ed clean. The new <strong>SYR</strong> <strong>POU</strong> comb<strong>in</strong>es all elements <strong>in</strong> a s<strong>in</strong>gle device. It can be backwashed manually <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong>refore prevents frequent cartridge replacement.<br />
World <strong>first</strong> <strong>–</strong> <strong>SYR</strong> <strong>POU</strong>: <strong>the</strong> <strong>first</strong> 3-<strong>in</strong>-1 top performance backwash filter for <strong>potable</strong> <strong>water</strong><br />
The <strong>SYR</strong> <strong>POU</strong> puts an end to dirty dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g <strong>water</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> frequent <strong>and</strong><br />
cost-<strong>in</strong>tensive filter cartridge exchange: <strong>the</strong> <strong>POU</strong> device comb<strong>in</strong>es all<br />
three filters (f<strong>in</strong>e mesh filter aga<strong>in</strong>st impurities, activated carbon filter +<br />
bacteria filter) <strong>in</strong> a compact unit, which allows backwash<strong>in</strong>g. Depend<strong>in</strong>g<br />
on <strong>the</strong> amount of accumulated dirt particles, backwash<strong>in</strong>g can be carried<br />
out manually, which requires only a small backwash <strong>water</strong> quantity.<br />
This means: less servic<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> lower ensu<strong>in</strong>g costs.<br />
Simple <strong>in</strong>stallation<br />
The <strong>SYR</strong> <strong>POU</strong> can be <strong>in</strong>stalled easily under <strong>the</strong> s<strong>in</strong>k. Mount <strong>the</strong> filter with<br />
<strong>the</strong> ma<strong>in</strong> axis <strong>in</strong> vertical position. Provide for enough space under <strong>the</strong><br />
filter to allow for <strong>the</strong> replacement of <strong>the</strong> cartridge <strong>and</strong> a conta<strong>in</strong>er to<br />
collect <strong>the</strong> backwashed <strong>water</strong>.<br />
