growing up and spending most of
your youth in the Jewish Community
– The 3 rd Highest of any city with an NBLA
Franchise (See: Picture)
Why The Timberwolves?
• Team Fit
– The Timberwolves are a youthful franchise with two young pillars already in Ricky Rubio and
Kevin Love. You can join these two to form a great young trio to head into the Playoffs
together. Everyone will be under contract for multiple seasons
• Coaching Fit
– Coach Rick Adelman likes to feature his shooting guard as his primary scorer. Remember
Kevin Martin’s glory days? Those were under the tutelage of Rick Adelman. You will be asked
to score, and score a lot.
– We understand your desire to win ballgames. Adelman is one of the best coaches in league
history and will get this team to where it needs to be.
• City Fit
– You grew up in Indianapolis, IN and have strong connections to the Midwest. Minneapolis is
in the heart of Big 10 country, and fairly similar in size and structure to Indianapolis. You will
also have plenty of opportunities to watch your Indiana Hoosiers or your Brother Eron’s AAU
team play games in the area.
• Shared Backcourt
– You would be asked to share a backcourt with rising international star Ricky Rubio. His ability
to create open shots and distribute the basketball will only give you more open looks. You
and Ricky will complement each other perfectly and will get along great with your shared
desire to win ball games.
Why We Want YOU!
• Superstar Talent
– We believe that you are a future superstar in this league. Your ability
to score, defend, distribute from the 2-guard position makes you an
elite player in this league and somebody that we covet.
• Scoring
– Our downfall last year was the play of our wings at SG and SF. We
struggled to generate any scoring from those positions. You are
already an elite scorer in the NBA. Adding you to our roster feels like
the final piece of the puzzle.
• Franchise Direction
– We are a youthful franchise with talent that has two franchise pillars
who have their peak years ahead of them. We think that your best
days are ahead of you as well and want to get you aboard the
Minnesota Timberwolves train and be that third pillar.
Team Plan and Execution
• 2012-2013 Season
– Our plan for this offseason is to get you set up as our primary
perimeter scorer and add a small forward to the lineup who can
shoot and defend. Then add depth.
– Our attainable goal for the 2012-2013 season is to secure a
playoff birth, and be a top 5 seed in the Western Conference.
• 2013 and Beyond
– Build around the core of Ricky Rubio, Eric Gordon, and Kevin
Love
– Make Deep Playoff Runs
– Win Championships

Further Details of the Deal
• Minnesota is currently $11,992,867 under the cap and Eric cannot sign an
offer sheet with Minnesota until they are $14,168,750 under the salary
cap.
• $13,668,750 base salary in 2012-2013 + $500,000 in possible
incentives which must fit underneath the cap
• Minnesota needs to clear $2,175,883 off of their cap for Eric to sign
an offer sheet for this max offer.
• Minnesota can do this through sign and trade or through trades with
other teams but would like a verbal agreement from Eric before
immediately open S&T discussions with New Orleans to make it
happen.

our missing link and a player
that we can build around in
our future.
• We sincerely hope that you
choose Minnesota as your
next destination.
