– You would be asked to share a backcourt with rising international star Ricky Rubio. His ability
to create open shots and distribute the basketball will only give you more open looks. You
and Ricky will complement each other perfectly and will get along great with your shared
desire to win ball games.

Further Details of the Deal
• Minnesota is currently $11,992,867 under the cap and Eric cannot sign an
offer sheet with Minnesota until they are $14,168,750 under the salary
cap.
• $13,668,750 base salary in 2012-2013 + $500,000 in possible
incentives which must fit underneath the cap
• Minnesota needs to clear $2,175,883 off of their cap for Eric to sign
an offer sheet for this max offer.
• Minnesota can do this through sign and trade or through trades with
other teams but would like a verbal agreement from Eric before
moving ahead with any moves.
• If Eric verbally agrees to sign with Minnesota, Minnesota will
immediately open S&T discussions with New Orleans to make it
happen.
