As different measuring pins are available, the HZM can
be used to measure force on different makes of point
machines
The HZM has two measuring channels which means that
measurements can be made with two different measuring
pins at two locations at the same time

As a compact integration of load-measuring
pin and display, the newly-developed
tongue-force measuring device called HZM
provides everything required for perfect
force testing on point-setting systems. The
handy, ultra-light and versatile measuring
device with comprehensive accessories fulfils
many practical requirements. Compact
design, simple operation, long operating
time and service life, large memory, high
protection class make the HZM a reliable
instrument, especially when in permanent
use. Setting force, setting resistance and
holding force can be measured precisely,
conveniently and at speed.
Load-measuring pin
Measuring pins no longer have to be calibrated
before each measurement. An
EEPROM memory in the connector of the
load-measuring pin stores calibration,
manufacturer and other data. The intelligent
solution prevents incorrect pin calibration
by the operator. As the pins can be locked,
measurements can be safely made
when trains are crossing points.
