TrocaPort Reusable and Reposable Systems with Silicone Valve
Designed with a silicone valve at its core, the TrocaPort system creates an excellent seal,
is lightweight, and is ergonomic in the surgeon’s hand. TrocaPort is available as a fullyreusable
system or semi-disposable (reposable) system where the cannula is reused and
a new sterile-packaged valve top is provided for each case.
Silicone Valve
The patented silicone valve prevents instruments from being damaged during introduction
or extraction. TrocaPort’s quick-lock closure (1.5 turns) between the valve top and trocar
bucket allows for quick and easy assembly and its lubeless stopcock and limited seals
make maintenance easy. A tapered distal end encourages smooth introduction of the
trocar and dilation at the puncture site. TrocaPort is available in a variety of diameters,
lengths, and with smooth or threaded sheaths.
TrocaTec Reusable System with Trap Door Valve
Constructed with a push-button trap door, the TrocaTec
system offers a reliably tight seal. The easy-to-operate pushbutton
valve is activated at a right angle from the instrument
axis to reduce the risk of moving the trocar position at the
puncture site.
TrocaTec’s trap door lid is rounded and polished to ensure
low friction between the instrument and the valve, reducing
wear and creating superior glide. Quick-lock closures (1.5
turns) allow for easy assembly and disassembly. A tapered
distal end encourages smooth introduction of the trocar
and dilation at the puncture site. TrocaTec is available in a
variety of diameters, lengths, and with smooth or threaded
sheaths.
