This guide will help to set this standard. Thank you for your help in making our brand and presentation the best in the industry.

gENERAL LAYOUTS

Layouts are sorted by size where possible, and alpha sorted once placed in size order. Multiple franchises advertising in the same

publication should have their advertisements composited together. Consultant’s can place their adverts together on a full page if their

business owner or manager is happy for this to happen.

Ideally, all Harcourts layouts should appear in the same area of the publication, however this is not always possible as different

franchises have different rules. If a franchise would like to appear in the same area of the publication as their fellow Harcourts

franchise, the business owner or manager can co-ordinate this through me where possible.

properties that are marketed on www.luxurypropertyselection.com. Before you use the logo, you MUST check the property is on

this site (search for listing number on www.luxurypropertyselection.com), or seek approval the Harcourts State/Country marketing

manager. Misuse of this logo can result in legal action from Luxury Property Selection.

The design of the header and footer cannot be altered, however the depth of the footer may be adjusted to cater for module sizes. An office (or

multiple offices) are able to add basic office information into the header in the format indicated. All headers with the addition of office information must be in the

font size and format as specified on the files. Any additions/alterations to this style must receive prior approval from Harcourts International Ltd.

The Harcourts logo in the header MUST NOT contain franchise details. Standard Harcourts logo must be used.

Icons are used in all double page spreads, full, half and quarter page advertisements. A minimum of three and a maximum of five

icons can appear. The size is standardised and must not be altered. If more than 1 digit appears, i.e. 1.5 bathrooms, move the icons

to the left to allow for the extra space. Do not try and squeeze the extra digit in the current allowed space.

SALE TYPES

We have five sale types available only: Auction, Tender, For Sale, For Rent, For Lease. Following each of these sales types are

the sales details. All Sale types that are requested outside of the five aforementioned, should fit under ‘For Sale’. For example

‘Price ($xxx,xxx)’, ‘Price on Application’, ‘By Negotiation’, ‘Expressions of Interest’, ‘Deadline Sale’, ‘Best offer over’ should all

follow the ‘For Sale’ sale type. Mortgagee Auction should follow ‘Auction’ and ‘Mortgagee Tender’ should follow ‘Tender’.

If the quality of a photo is not going to print well, then the advertisement does not meet the Harcourts standard and should have

a new photo submitted. Under no circumstances is clip art to be used. All imagery used in modules must have appropriate

licences for publication use. For example, 3rd party maps, stock images, screenshots for websites. Text on image is only to be

displayed in format and size indicated. No images are to be used with text added.
