Viewing a document as it will display in <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web<br />

(Flash View <strong>and</strong> HTML View)<br />

Flash View <strong>and</strong> HTML View in Desktop display the document as it will look<br />

in <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web.<br />

Prerequisites to use Flash View <strong>and</strong> HTML View<br />

Before you can switch to Flash View or HTML View, you must enable Flash<br />

View or HTML View. See Enabling <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web preview for a<br />

document, page 5 for directions.<br />

Finally, if your document contains any of the following, you must embed<br />

fonts:<br />

• Anti-alias support<br />

• Vertical text<br />

• Graph labels rotated 45, 90, or 180º<br />

Enabling <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web preview for a document<br />

Before you can switch to Flash View or HTML View to preview how a<br />

document will look in <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web, you must enable Flash View or<br />

HTML View.<br />

To enable Flash View <strong>and</strong> HTML View<br />

1 Open the document in Design View in the Document Editor.<br />

2 From the Format menu, select Document Properties. The Document<br />

Properties dialog box opens.<br />

3 Select Document.<br />
