Tuzla GEPP Project

• The first Study of Tuzla Geothermal Field was conducted by MTA in 1966

• First exploration and production Well (T‐1) was drilled in 1982 at depth

of 814 meters with 174 °C as artesian. After 3 more additional

geothermal wells, the characteristics of the field was specified.

• Geoscience Ltd. Report 1989

• DARDANEL had a contract with MTA (Mineral Research and Exploration

Institute) for the utility of Tuzla Area starting for 49 years at 29.09.2003.

• DARDANEL applied to EMRA (Energy Market Regulating Association) and

got the production license for 40 years starting from 11.05.2004.

• EGENDA bought 95% of the company on 21.03.2007

• After Geothermal Law no.5686, the Operating License from the City of

Çanakkale was received on 11.03.2008.
