CAMP MEETING 2013 ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. REQUEST FOR PRAYER: CAMP MEETING IS SEVEN (7) WEEKS AWAY!! - Please pray earnestly for
the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit at Camp Meeting this year. Pray also for the guest speakers.
Pray for travel mercies for the speakers and for all who will be attending. May we not depart from Camp
Meeting without being revived and renewed through the in-pouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives, so that we
can be effective witnesses to the world.
2. COUNSELLING SERVICE AVAILABLE DURING CAMPMEETING: A Counselling service will be available
during Camp Meeting in the northern vestry of the Auditorium at the following times:
Friday, 29 March from 09:00 - 13:00 and 15:00 – 17:00
Sunday,31 March from 09:00 - 13:00 and 15:00 – 17:00
You will have the opportunity to book at the Information Office for the time slot most suitable to you and you
may also select the counsellor of preference (as listed on the roster).
3. CAMP MEETING (28 MARCH – 1 APRIL 2013) GUEST SPEAKERS:
The guest speakers for the 2013 Camp Meeting will be as follows:
o Dr. James Nix - from the General Conference (USA)
o Dr. Ganoune Diop - from the General Conference (USA)
o Dr. Pierre Steenberg- from Central California Conference (USA)
o Prof. Walter Veith - from the Cape Conference (South Africa)
o Ps. Adam Ramdin - from the North England Conference (Great Britain) Youth Speaker
o Ps. L Litchfield - (TEEN SPEAKER)
4. MEALS AT CAMP MEETING 28 March – 1 April 2013:
This year meals will again be served:
(a) In the Dining Room on the Campgrounds open hyperlink: Menu and Booking Form for Joan's Meals
that will be served in the Camp Grounds Dining Room and
(b) Take away meals will be available from the Sedaven High School dining room on Friday and
Sunday (10:00 – 16:00) – Take-away menu to follow. (No food will be available from the School
Dining Room on Sabbath 30 March).
(c) The “Carrot and Coconut Hut” – near the big tent will again serve take away meals as well as a prebooked

5. CAMP MEETING RULES: It is important that the Camp Meeting Rules are read and adhered to during
Camp Meeting. Campers: Please take special note that ONLY ONE APPLIANCE may be used at any time
per camp site. A maximum of 6 persons per camp site and only one motor vehicle per camp site will be

7. RESERVATIONS FOR CAMP MEETING 2013: A few camp sites might still be available. Open this

8. CAMP MEETING ANNOUNCEMENTS – KID’S CAMPUS:
All children to please bring their swimming costumes & a towel with them to Camp Meeting on
the Sunday, to participate in the Outdoor Activities, prepared for that day.
We are desperately in need of Wool (any colour and kind) for a craft at Camp Meeting.
9. The Transvaal Conference Children’s Ministries Department is in need of all church members’ help.
They would like to collect at least 500 empty tins/cans (i.e. empty baked bean, sweetcorn tins etc.
holding approx. 400g) and Cereal Boxes for their 2013 Children’s Camp Meeting crafts slot. All
donations of such items will be highly appreciated. Please call Lyndell Smithwick at: 011 856 4478 or

10. CAMPMEETING FUN WALK / RUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY +/- 5 KM (FRIDAY & SUNDAY
MORNING AT 06:00) The Youth Camp Meeting team is inviting ALL campers to come and enjoy the fresh
morning breeze!! Bring Grandpa and Grandma!! Bring Daddy and Mommy!! Bring all the children!! Meet
at 06h00 at the Youth Hall.

KAMPVERGADERING 2013 AANKONDIGINGS
1. VERSOEK VIR GEBED: Dit is slegs nege weke voor Kampvergadering! Mag u smeekgebede nou met
erns opgaan vir die teenwoordigheid en krag van die Heilige Gees tydens kampvergadering. Mag ons
waarlik smeek dat die Heilige Gees ons sal hernu en hervorm sodat ons effektief vir die Here sal getuig.
2. BERADING TYDENS KAMPVERGADERING: Berading gaan tydens Kampvergadering aangebied word in
die noord konsistorie van die gehoorsaal as volg:
Vrydag, 29 Maart van 09:00 - 13:00 en 15:00 – 17:00
Sondag,31 Maart van 09:00 - 13:00 en 15:00 – 17:00
Daar sal geleentheid wees om by die Inligtingskantoor te bespreek vir die tydgleuf van u keuse asook vir
die berader met wie u wil beraad, soos aangedui op die rooster.
3. KAMPVERGADERING (28 MAART - 1 APRIL 2013) GASSPREKERS:
Die gassprekers vir die opkomende 2013 kampvergadering sal DV as volg wees:

4. MAALTYE TYDENS KAMPVERGADERING 28 Maart – 1 April: Aansitmaaltye sal bedien word
a. In die eetsaal op die kampgronde. Maaltye sal voorberei word vir ʼn maksimum van 300 persone; dus
moet jy asseblief vroegtydig bespreek om teleurstelling te voorkom. “hyperlink”: Menu & Booking Form for

b. Wegneemetes sal beskikbaar wees by Hoërskool Sedaven se eetsaal op Vrydag en Sondag (10:00 –
16:00) Wegneemetes spyskaart sal volg. (Geen kos sal by hierdie lokaal beskikbaar wees op Sabbat 30
Maart nie).
c. Die “Carrot & Coconut Hut” – digby die groot tent, sal weer wegneemetes bedien en hulle sal ook
middagetes bedien op Sabbat as u vooraf bespreek het - Menu of "Carrot and Coconut" Vegan Stall –
Let Wel: Moet vir Sabbat bespreek!!
5. KAMPVERGADERING REËLS: Dit is belangrik dat almal wat kampvergadering bywoon bekend is met die
meegaande reëls. Kampeerders: Moet veral kennis neem dat net EEN ELEKTRIESE TOESTEL op ʼn slag
gebruik mag word by enigeen van die kampeer staanplekke. Bly by die beperkings van ʼn maksimum van 6
persone per staanplek en alleenlik een motorvoertuig per staanplek. Verwys na hierdie “hyperlink” vir die:

6. BESPREKINGS VIR KAMPVERGADERING 2013: Daar is moontlik nog ʼn paar staanplekke beskikbaar.
Besprekingsvorms is op die “hyperlink” Reservation Forms for Tvl Conf Camp Meeting 2013 beskikbaar.
7. KAMPVERGADERING AANKONDIGINGS – JONGSPAN KAMPUS:
Kinders moet almal asseblief hul swemdrag en handdoeke op die Sondag van Kampvergadering
naweek saambring om deel te neem aan die Buitemuurse Aktiwiteite wat vir daardie dag beplan is.
Ons het dringend Wol nodig (enige kleur of soort) vir ‘n handwerk aktiwiteit wat die jongspan
tydens kampvergadering gaan doen.
8. VOORLOPIGE PROGRAMME: Die voorlopige programme vir Volwassenes, Jeug en Tieners:.

9. Die Transvaal Konferensie – Departement Kinderbediening het u hulp dringend nodig. Hulle wil
graag ten minste 500 skoon leë blikke / kanne en ontbytgraankoshouers vir hul 2013
Kampvergadering kinderprogram bymekaarmaak. (Die grootte van die blikke – kan ongeveer 400g
inhoud hou soos b.v.“Baked Beans” blikkies). Skenkings van sodanige items sal hoog op prys gestel word.

10. KAMPVERGADERING PRETSTAP / PRETDRAF VIR DIE HELE GESIN +/- 5 KM (VRYDAG EN
SONDAGOGGEND OM 06h00). Die Jeug Kampvergaderingspan nooi ALLE kampeerders uit om die
vroeë oggendluggie te kom geniet. Ontmoet mekaar 06h00 by die Jeugsaal.
11. HELPERS WORD DEUR STANBOROUGH SA BENODIG gedurende Kampvergadering vanaf Donderdag
28 Maart 2013 tot Maandag 1 April. Persone wat belangstel, stuur asseblief ʼn epos aan
