Participants may supply their own rostra, but it must be such that it can be easily handled by the learners/participants. 3. The use of voice, facial expression and atmosphere is adjudicated - not actions, decor or props. 4. One voice must not overpower the group. 5. Avoid over articulation - keep it natural. 6. Use a variety of pace, pauses, volume, emphasis and tones. 7. Interesting formation of the group is also encouraged. 8. Create a colourful sound experience by using rhythm, sounds and sound effects. No musical instruments or electronic devices may be used to create sound affects 9. You need not stick to the words of the chosen poem. Additions, repetition of sections, background voices etc. may be used, to add to the atmosfere. 10. As this is a speech choir, a group of people performing in unison, the instructor may conduct the choir. 11. There is no limit to the number of learners/participants in a speech choir. The
