his driver`s license was suspended. I asked Hill for a driver`s license and he said
he only had his passport. I asked Hill if he was driving, Hill said he was driving
earlier. I asked Hill about the alcoholic beverage and he advised it belonged to
him. Officer Armstrong arrived on scene to assist. I noticed that the registration
number is printed was ripped off. The registration plate had been expired since
the registration sticker.
Officer Reinas was requested to assist on utilizing K9 Allie to walk around the
vehicle. Officer Reinas asked Hill and Atwater to stand in front of my patrol
vehicle. While Officer Reinas had K9 Allie walk around the vehicle, I was sitting
in my patrol vehicle and I could see Hill`s left hand messing with his left pants
pocket. It appeared like he was taking something out and then he was moving his
legs. I got out and checked under the front of my patrol vehicle and I found a blue
colored smoking pipe device behind Hill`s feet. I asked Hill about the smoking
pipe and he denied it was his. Hill finally admitted the smoking pipe belonged to
him.
The vehicle keys were in his possession. I issued Hill citations and the registration
plate was siezed and his vehicle was towed by Claytons Wrecker Service. Hill then
left the area without any incident.
Injury to Real Property. Upon arrival, Officer Velazquez and I searched the area
for the suspects who were described by the complainant (complainant refused
officer contact) as three (3) teenage males wearing dark clothing. We were unable
to locate any persons matching that description in the area.
Officer Velazquez and I identified nine (9) mailboxes on Legends Way which had
been damaged or destroyed ((237 - 13-06855) (239 - 13-06861) (301 - 13-06862)
(303 - 13-06863) (305 - 13-06864) (307 - 13-06865) (309 - 13-06866) (311 -
13-06867) (313 - 13-06868)) and we spoke to the homeowner at each. It appeared
that the suspect(s) punched and kicked the mailboxes and their posts, leaving dents
in many mailboxes and also broken posts. Many of the mailboxes had shoe
impressions and/or blood left on them as a result.
