Construction in Waterways<br />
Criteria <strong>and</strong> Limitations<br />
* Structures must be placed within an area extending<br />
waterward at a 45° angle from property’s seawall at the<br />
side property lines, not to exceed 25’ waterward from<br />
seawall, nor encroach 25’ <strong>of</strong> established centerline <strong>of</strong><br />
waterway except: In waterways where width is less than<br />
100’ or in waterways not seawalled, structures will be<br />
placed to not exceed 10’ waterward unless 50’ passageway<br />
can be maintained.<br />
* Construction (single family homes) is permitted to<br />
dedicated public platted canals for freest<strong>and</strong>ing concrete<br />
docks protruding no more than 10’ waterward from<br />
seawall <strong>and</strong> on lots having at least 85’ <strong>of</strong> seawall length:<br />
a) a boat lift <strong>and</strong> up to 3 outpilings, or b) up to 6<br />
outpilings, or c) 2 boat lifts.
