MGWSP Link Welcome from Alan The Way Ahead The MGWSP team. It’s now over 2 months since we started the new highways services contract and I’ve been very pleased with the start we have made. I have been impressed with the way the new team has come together and with the way you have adapted to new systems and procedures whilst continuing to deliver a good service to NCC. The seamless transition to the new contract has also been acknowledged by the Council. Having now come through this initial period we need to drive forward in every area of our operation, not just in service delivery, but also in the all important areas of IT, human resources, administration and the Our Vision: To be the natural choice for clients seeking an integrated, value-driven and inspirational service partner. Our Values: • Ownership • Sustainability • Inclusion & Support • Inspiration & Passion • Trust & Respect • Innovation Do you have a news story? We still have many challenges ahead in order to be able to deliver the efficiencies the Council are looking for and also to provide a more customer focused service to local communities. However, we clearly have a team that can adapt and move forward and I’m confident that we will continue to provide an improving service and be seen as a provider that can make a difference. My personal thanks go to each and every employee for your commitment and at times for your patience whilst we have continued to mobilise some aspects of the service. Keep up the good work. KPIs - change for staff Northamptonshire County Council has introduced KPIs under the new MGWSP Contract. This is a mandatory requirement of the contract and has to be met to ensure all parties do not incur financial penalties. KPIs are used as a useful tool to track and monitor performance. They are particularly useful for identifying areas for improvement and thereby allowing respective measures and/or actions to be introduced to ensure future quality and performance. As you have demonstrated in the past you have provided a quality service and as a result we have very little doubt that you will already be achieving your KPIs without actually knowing it. This process now allows the results to be formally recorded. Achievement of the KPIs allows us all to demonstrate to NCC a quality product that will get us a reference for future work and success.
