The Signaling Connection Control Part (<strong>SCCP</strong>) provides additional functions<br />

to the Network Layer (NL) to cater for both connectionless as well as connection-oriented<br />

network services to transfer circuit related and non-circuit related<br />

signaling information between exchanges and specialized centers in telecommunication<br />

networks (e.g. for management and maintenance purposes) via a<br />

Signaling System No. 7 Network.<br />

Interface<br />

The upper interface primitives establish communication<br />

interface. The interface supports C/C++ or Java<br />
