MAPEPLAST BV 34
PLASTICIZER - based on lignosulphonate
MAPEPLAST BV 34 is a lignosulphonate-based plasticizer to aid water conservation and improve
processing capability. MAPEPLAST BV 34 is a concrete plasticizer, specially coordinated for the
applications specified below.
Field of application
MAPEPLAST BV 34 is recommended for the following application fields:
- in all areas of ready-mix concrete
- face concrete
- for water conservation
The requirements of EN 934-2 and EN 206-1 should be covered, before concrete admixtures are
applied.

To achieve the optimum effect of MAPEPLAST BV 34, we recommend adding MAPEPLAST BV 34
simultaneously with the mixing water.
Processing note
The dosage of MAPEPLAST BV 34 has to be defined during the initial test dependent on the desired plasticizing
effect or the desired water conservation. Do not dispense MAPEPLAST BV 34 into a dry mixture.

MAPEPLAST BV 34 has to be added simultaneously with the mixing water. CAUTION: A
simultaneous dosage with Air-entraining agents is not possible, while the compatibility inside the concrete is
given. The mixing time has to confirm to the specific standards.
Effectiveness
Concrete with MAPEPLAST BV 34 shows a better processing ability and lower water demand. By
adding MAPEPLAST BV 34, the surface tension of the water is reduced, and so the cement, additives and fine
aggregates are saturated quicker. The cement paste mixes easier and the consistency is improved.

Storage life: 1 year
Storage conditions: protect against frost impact and solar radiation, at temperatures below + 5°C,
crystallization is possible, this does not influence the effect when the additive is warmed
and stirred before application.
