THE ROYAL REMINDER

LIBRARY BOOKS Students and parents are reminded that all QMS library books are due

back by Friday, May 31st. Thank you.

A TASTE OF JAPAN Last week Sensai Sayaka brought a little taste of

Japan to our Primary students in the form of rice balls! Students

learned about the ingredients, how to roll the rice balls and then

sample their work. Delicious!

YEARBOOKS Missed ordering your yearbook? It’s not too late!

Connect with Milly Jurisic to secure your piece of QMS history.

SNEAKY PLAY Thank you to our Grade 8‐10 drama students for

their fabulous performance of The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch.

Cast members were outstanding in their roles, and the play was

highly entertaining for everyone.

reminded that we will be hosting an Extraordinary Meeting of the

QMS Society on Saturday, June 8th at 10:00am in the Fine Arts

FACULTY BIO OF THE WEEK—Meet Dean Schneider

Monsieur Schneider has been a part of Queen Margaret’s School

since 2000, after teaching stints in Comox, Salt Spring Island and Red

Deer, Alberta. He sincerely loves teaching our youngest students

French, and being the Junior School Padre. Did you know that

Mr. Schneider was a varsity pole vaulter for Michigan State? As

keeper of the QMS staff ice hockey pool, he dreams of winning it one

day. With his current hockey pool results, it does not appear that

2013 will be the year he realizes his dream. Sorry Mr. Schneider...
