Specifi c goalkeeper training<br />

Equipment: balls, medicine ball, heart rate monitor.<br />

Warming up and preparing for the session:<br />

• individual warm-up without the ball (5 minutes)<br />

Catching the ball, standing<br />

• 10 balls from a volley<br />

• 10 balls from a half-volley<br />

Dives (to the same side)<br />

• ball on ground<br />

• 4 balls on each side<br />

Dives at medium height in the form of a relay<br />

(A – goalkeeper 1, B – g. 2, C – g. 3)<br />

• 6 balls on each side<br />

Goalkeeper sitting down, catches the ball to left and<br />

right • 8 balls on the ground (kicked)<br />

• 8 balls at medium height (thrown)<br />

Dives (left/right)<br />

• ball on ground<br />

• 4 balls on each side, alternating sides<br />

Move along the goal and dive for the medicine ball<br />

thrown to the goalkeeper.<br />

• total of 10 dives
