All FCC credit students have a College email address that will serve as the official means of electronic
communication between the College and the student. The email account can be accessed
through the myFCC website located on the web at https://myFCC.frederick.edu. In addition to
email, myFCC provides students with online data storage, a link to the Blackboard online learning
environment, a link to online course registration, and access to College announcements. You can
access your myFCC account from anywhere you have internet access. If you have any questions,
please send an email to: helpdesk@myfcc.frederick.edu or stop by the IT suite in F-104.

The Welcome and Registration Center, located in A-
102, provides many services to assist students with
their academic records and general student needs.
Check your student account at the FCC website
http://www.frederick.edu. Student kiosks are available
for your use in the Welcome Center and the
staff is happy to assist new users. Stop by the Welcome
Center to learn how to log in, register, check
your grades, print a transcript, pay for classes, etc.
The Welcome Center encourages you to obtain an
FCC ID card and would be happy to assist you if you
do not have one. The cards have your student ID
number on them and are needed when requesting information
and obtaining records. Let us know how
we can assist you. Office hours are Monday through
Thursday from 8:30a.m.-7:00p.m. and Friday from
8:30a.m.-4:30p.m. During June & July, FCC will
close at 1:00p.m. on Fridays. Our phone number is
301.846.2431. Summer grades will be available on-

FACTS Deferred Tuition Program
line 48 hours after the last day of the session. Students
planning to graduate this year should complete
a Graduation Application in the Welcome Center or
on-line. The deadline to apply for August graduation
is August 3 and the deadline to apply for December
graduation is November 30. You are encouraged to
apply early and have your requirements checked as
soon as possible. Students graduating in August and
December are invited to participate in the May 2008
ceremony.
Registration for summer and fall is underway.
Payment for summer registration is due at the time of
registration. Payment for Fall pre-registration is due
August 8, and beginning August 9, payment is due
for Fall when you register. The college is pleased to
be able to offer the FACTS payment plan for students
who wish to pay their tuition in installments.
See below for information.
If you owe at least $200 on your student account for the fall semester, then you can take part in the FACTS
Deferred Tuition Program (this option is not available for the summer sessions). The one time enrollment fee,
which is automatically deducted from your account by FACTS, is $25. The enrollment application is a
binding contract, so please read it carefully. Your first payment will be due to FCC when you enroll in the
program, and will be between 20-33% of the total bill depending on when you sign up for the program. The
remaining 2 to 4 payments are due to FACTS. You must have a bank account or credit card to take part in this
program. If you receive financial aid after you have enrolled in the program, you must contact the Cashier‟s
Office to adjust your FACTS account. You can also enroll in the FACTS program online. For more information,
contact the Cashier‟s Office at 301.846.2456 or to enroll online, go to http://www.frederick.edu and click
on „Online Services‟ and then „Student System Access‟ for instructions.

Testing Center Bookstore
The Testing Center hours are Monday through
Thursday 8:30a.m.-8:00p.m., Fridays 8:30a.m.-
4:30p.m., and Saturdays 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. During
June & July, FCC will close at 1:00p.m. on Fridays.
The Testing Center is closed when the college is
closed. Please check the inside back cover of the
college catalog for scheduled holidays.
New students needing to take placement tests must
apply to the college and get a student ID # before
testing can take place. All tests are computerized
and require a student ID # for registration. Students
needing to utilize the Testing Center for on-line exams
or make-up departmental exams, must supply
photo ID and professor‟s name. Handouts with
strategies for taking the placement tests are available
at the Office of Adult Services, A-107.
The bookstore hours for June and July are Monday,
8:30a.m.-7:00p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
8:30a.m.-5:00p.m., and Friday 8:30a.m.-
1:00p.m. Fall books go on sale August 6. Hours
starting August 6 will be Monday through Thursday
8:30a.m.-7:00p.m., Fridays 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m.. The
bookstore will be open Saturday, August 25 from
8:00a.m.-12:00p.m. The bookstore will be closed
the following dates: June 28-29, July 4, and September
3.
Book buybacks will be held on the following dates*:

a delightful presentation of The Fantasticks! A classic coming-of-age story, The Fantasticks features two meddling,
matchmaking fathers who scheme to get their children together. But once the couple is united, the real
drama begins! Featuring the beloved songs “Try to Remember” and “Soon it‟s Gonna Rain,” this is a celebration
of love - first love, lost love, and ultimately, true love. The Fantasticks has delighted audiences across the
world - including a record shattering 17,162 performances at the Sullivan Street Playhouse, where it made its
Off Broadway debut in 1960. Whether it‟s an old favorite or your first time, you won‟t want to miss this timeless

listing of all types of support groups.
Compiles a monthly Calendar of Events, listing free events in Frederick
County that are open to the public.
Distributes the Divorce Resource, a listing of divorce supports available in
Frederick County, and Social Activities for Singles in Frederick County, for
single adults looking for things to do in the area.
Develops and publishes the Community Resource Directory, a listing of community
agencies with a description of the services they provide.
