MISSION
Establish an overarching framework to coordinate all
education-related education related services to youth and families
School Liaison Services provides/facilitates smoother
school transitions and educational support services
Army-wide. Army wide. The School Liaison Officer (SLO)
informs and assists military families with school
transition issues prior to arrival, upon arrival, while
stationed at installation and when preparing to depart.
The SLO works to build partnerships between the
military community, the civilian community and the
local schools to promote educational success.

SCHOOL LIAISON SERVICES
Provides information on educational services
Connects families with local, national, and worldwide subject
matter experts in youth education and school transition issues
Educates parents to become advocates for their children
Serves as a mediator for school-related school related issues
Provides liaison between families, schools, and installation
commanders
