MISSION<br />

Establish an overarching framework to coordinate all<br />

education-related education related services to youth and families<br />

<strong>School</strong> <strong>Liaison</strong> Services provides/facilitates smoother<br />

school transitions and educational support services<br />

Army-wide. Army wide. The <strong>School</strong> <strong>Liaison</strong> Officer (SLO)<br />

informs and assists military families with school<br />

transition issues prior to arrival, upon arrival, while<br />

stationed at installation and when preparing to depart.<br />

The SLO works to build partnerships between the<br />

military community, the civilian community and the<br />

local schools to promote educational success.


SCHOOL LIAISON SERVICES<br />

Provides information on educational services<br />

Connects families with local, national, and worldwide subject<br />

matter experts in youth education and school transition issues<br />

Educates parents to become advocates for their children<br />

Serves as a mediator for school-related school related issues<br />

Provides liaison between families, schools, and installation<br />

commanders
