As a member of the Weight Stigma Initiatives team headed by Dr. Rebecca<br />

Puhl, assisted with study design and implementation, including literature<br />

reviewing, programming, writing IRB proposals and manuscripts, and<br />

collecting data.<br />

Sept 2009 – June 2010: Researcher, Stanford University, Stanford CA<br />

Department of Psychology<br />

Honors thesis: The Role of Biological Theories of Race in Racial Encoding<br />

Designed and programmed the study, performed literature reviews,<br />

applied for grant support, obtained IRB consent, ran participants, coded<br />

and analyzed the data, wrote up the experimental findings, and presented<br />

and defended the study for faculty members<br />

Mar 2008 – Jun 2010: Research Assistant. Stanford University, Stanford, CA.<br />

Worked closely with graduate students and other undergraduate RAs in<br />

designing studies; carrying out literature reviews; recruiting and running<br />
