Travel southbound on U.S. Highway 101 through Coos Bay was slowed this morning by a semi-trailer th<strong>at</strong><br />

detached from its cab. The gravel-hauling truck was turning onto 101 from Ingersoll Avenue around 8 a.m.<br />

when the trailer came off, blocking the two right lanes of traffic, according to police officers directing traffic<br />

<strong>at</strong> the scene. The Oregon Department of Transport<strong>at</strong>ion brought in equipment to remove the trailer.<br />
