industry, Tarkett’s accessories range is a complete package

with installation and customization on request.
Tarkett accessories can be used with all our heterogeneous
and homogeneous vinyl and linoleum floorings. The range includes

Profiles
Stair Profiles can enhance and protect
the flooring on your stairs and provide
an additional level of safety and accessibility
for users. In PVC and aluminium, colours can
be selected to coordinate with the flooring
or to act as a contrast for better visibility
or design. They also offer tactile warning,
alerting users to the presence of stairs,
and slip-resistance as they descend.
The easy and rapid installation is matched
by permanent hold to provide a long-lasting
solution.

Tarkett’s wetroom systems
include a choice of PVC floor
drains, offering a range of
capacity outflow and height, as
well as vertical and horizontal
outlets. Designed for ease
and practicality, the clamping
ring adjusts automatically,
the plastic grating simply
snaps into place. A stainless
steel floor drain is also
available. Floor drains should
be installed by a plumber,
and in accordance with local
regulations and the technical
specifications provided by
Tarkett and the manufacturer.

or heavy buckets. A simple

away with a cloth dampened in
water. With Tarkospray Tarkett
has revolutionised the nature of
flooring installation.
Easy: No more crawling on the
knees with a trowel but standing

faster to apply than traditional

For the installer, TarkoSpray
represents a future that leaves
the aching backs and fatigue
of traditional glues in the past.
Tarkospray is applied from a
standing position and less time
spent on hands and knees reduces
the level of industrial injuries to
shoulders, back and knees.
No wait, immediate use
With Tarkospray downtime or time
to finish a project is reduced to
a minimum. Flooring that with a
traditional adhesive would have
created a week of disruption can
be finished in a day, and there is
no waiting 24 – 48 hours for the
glue to dry completely.
Welding can be done immediately;
the finished floor is ready for
use the same day. Not just for
light traffic, but for heavy use by
hospital equipment, trolleys and
even forklifts.
Safe due to better
ingredients
By using TarkoSpray you ensure
a better environment and better
indoor air quality. Tarkospray
is ultra efficient so a fine spray
will do the work of a thick layer,
leaving only minute quantities
of completely inert residue on
the underside of the flooring. As
a result, floors installed using
Tarkospray can simply be removed
and recycled.

Taping and Overlapping
The joins must be overlapping
and then covered by a strip
of adhesive tape. The joins
can then be prepared by using
a straightedge and a sharp knife
to cut along the overlap, through
both thicknesses at once.
This should result in an extremely
tight butt joint.
Cold liquid welding can be carried
out 24 hours after laying a vinyl
flooring.
Note: After edge-to-edge laying,
only a hot weld procedure can be
used.

Cold Liquid Welding
Inject the Tarkett V1008 cold
welding liquid into the full
thickness of the join in a single
even application and layer.
One of the wings of the nozzle
serves as a guide when placed into
the join. Remove the adhesive
tape after approximatively
10 minutes.
Do not remove any excess cold
weld. It will disappear during
normal wear. The floorcovering
should be left undisturbed for
24 hours after cold welding.
Note: Suitable for heterogeneous
PVC in sheet format. Not suitable
for tiles, nor Luxury Vinyl tiles,
nor homogeneous vinyl floorings.
