Is it rape if someone says “no” after sex has begun? Can a<br />
person who is under the influence of alcohol or other drugs give<br />
legal consent for sex? Does “no” ever mean “yes”? Consent<br />
is the key to preventing sexual assault. Find out what you and<br />
your friends need to know about consent and preventing sexual<br />
assault. Healthy snacks will be served.<br />

Take Back The Night is an annual event presented by<br />
the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center, which features<br />
various community and campus organizations that come<br />
together to raise awareness and put an end to domestic<br />
violence, rape, and assault. Statistics show that even<br />
though you may not have been directly affected by these<br />
issues, you certainly know someone who has. Through<br />
music, spoken word, information tables, interactive crafts<br />
tables, and personal testimonials, learn how to empower<br />
yourself and make a difference around these issues.<br />
