A congregation’s gifting at least 2 percent <strong>of</strong> its general budget income qualifies any<br />
student from that congregation to receive a $1,500/semester general scholarship that<br />
can be applied to tuition as well as room and board.<br />
99.MACU5 Ministry Advancement Program (MAP) .......................$100,000<br />
Funding that provides scholarships for pastoral, specialized ministry, and worship<br />
degree majors. Scholarships are prorated according to academic status (i.e. freshman,<br />
sophomore, and so forth). Scholarship recipients sign covenants to serve in <strong>Church</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>God</strong> congregations following graduation. MAP funding provides for development<br />
<strong>of</strong> ministry curriculum and future hiring <strong>of</strong> more ministry faculty as well.<br />
