A congregation’s gifting at least 2 percent of its general budget income qualifies any
student from that congregation to receive a $1,500/semester general scholarship that
can be applied to tuition as well as room and board.
99.MACU5 Ministry Advancement Program (MAP) .......................$100,000
Funding that provides scholarships for pastoral, specialized ministry, and worship
degree majors. Scholarships are prorated according to academic status (i.e. freshman,
sophomore, and so forth). Scholarship recipients sign covenants to serve in Church
of God congregations following graduation. MAP funding provides for development
of ministry curriculum and future hiring of more ministry faculty as well.
