F. RESEARCH FUNDING:<br />
I have successfully (co-) applied for funding to various UW institutions and external agencies,<br />
including the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft<br />
(DFG), Alexander-von-Humboldt-Stiftung, and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council <strong>of</strong><br />
Canada (SSHRC). I am currently co-directing a major collaborative project on the history <strong>of</strong><br />
citizenship at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Trier (SFB 600) funded by the DFG (2009-14). My work on a ‘New<br />
History <strong>of</strong> Ancient Galatia’ is supported through a SSHRC Standard Research Grant (2011-15).<br />
