I initiated this database in the context of the Project SFB 600-A2 The Foreign Friends of Rome,
University of Trier, in 2004; it was first called Amici Populi Romani Reipublicae Exeuntis (APRRE),
before its chronological scope was extended. APR versions 01-02 were published in Trier in 2007-

prosopographical articles and 4 genealogical tables by 30 authors from twelve countries (285 pp.).
Contributions are in German and English (French would be welcome, too).
