Conference Guide

introducing

thePowerofOpen

Welcome to the 2007 IGT Network Systems Users Conference.

An “open” network is a powerful thing. An open network created connections. It

invited innovation. It gave us the Internet. And the Internet changed the way we

do business…and the way we live our lives. Now imagine bringing the power of the

Internet to the casino floor.

In October 2006, I joined a dedicated team at IGT whose purpose is to make that happen – to tame

the power of an open network and empower you to transform your casino business. Our purpose is

to raise the bar on how casino systems perform. Our purpose is to enable you, the casino operator,

to enhance the player’s experience and to differentiate your property to increase revenues, lower

operating costs, and drive up profitability.

IGT Network Systems will accomplish all this while following the Gaming Standards Association’s

Game-to-System (G2S) and System-to-System (S2S) protocols. We fully embrace these protocols as

an opportunity to unify the industry and produce superior products.

It is important to note that an open network is much more than a design feature. It is an ideal;

a commitment and a testament to our belief that only when we engage in open environments do we

achieve the greatest possibilities for you – our valued customer. This vision is the future of gaming.

Guided by attendee feedback from last year’s inaugural event, this year’s IGT Network Systems

Users Conference features a powerful schedule of speakers – operators, industry experts, and key

IGT personnel – to address the most requested topics. Topics include IT operational strategies, how

to use IGT Advantage Bonusing to increase profits, the future direction of IGT’s systems offerings,

and bringing the power of the Internet to your casino floor. Sessions are arranged in tracks to appeal

to a variety of interests and have been expanded to encompass IGS, IGT Advantage ® , EZ Pay ® , IGT

sb Products and the IGT Mariposa software suite.

This year’s theme is “The Power of Open” – not just open networks, but also open dialog. We

want your feedback. We are committed to constantly improving the value we deliver to you. Your

suggestions and comments on our products and services will help us toward that goal.

We hope you enjoy this year’s event.

Regards,

Andy Ingram

Senior Vice President, IGT Network Systems
